Abstract:Aim To calculate stress and evaluate stress intensity of the reactor.Methods With finite element method to calculate stress,with principle of analysis design to evaluate stress intensity.Results The results showed that higher stress and higher temperature grads are located in the regions of nozzle and skirt linking with bottom head.Conclusion Finite element method is an effective and practical method in design by analysis.Linear treatment method of calculating stress is simple and reliable,stress evaluation results show that the high pressure is safety.
