The performance evaluation of Sysmex CA-7000 automatic coagulation analyzer

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the performance of Sysmex CA-7000 automatic coagulation analyzer(CA-7000).Methods The precision,accuracy,linearity,carryover pollution quotient of prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),prothrombin time(TT) and fibrinogen(FIB) of CA-7000 were measured according to evaluation standard of the ICSH.Results The CV intra batch of PT,ATTT,TT and Fbg were 0.7~2.3%,the absolute error of the correctable serum were 0.4~4.0%,and there are no significant difference in results between CA-7000 and Sysmex CA 500 automatic coagulation analyzer(P>0.05).The correlation ratio(r)were-0.772~0.999,and the carryover pollution quotient were 0~1.5%.Conclusion The precision,accuracy,linearity,carryover pollution quotient of prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),prothrombin time(TT)and fibrinogen(FIB)of CA-7000 are up to the standard,and can be recommended to be applied in medical coagulation function analysis.
