Abstract:Based on the relation-oriented context of China, social capital plays significant role in daily life. This article provides comprehensive literature review not only about entrepreneurial decision-making, social capital, and entrepreneurial self-efficacy but also the relationship among them. On the base of the detailed theory, this article introduces entrepreneurial self-efficacy as medium between entrepreneurial decision-making and social capital which offers a new perspective for researchers. In the end the future direction is suggested to deepen the concepts and construct systematic framework.

Abstract:With privately owned high-technology and newly established enterprises as the research objects,it expounds the rationalization of using the network theory on the base of reviewing the previous research on entrepreneurship and in the combination of analyzing the Chinese culture and the transition socioeconomic background. Then it presents a conceptual framework of the interactive mechanism for relational network and entrepreneurship,and discusses it in detail by explaining the value of network in the different stage of entrepreneur and the evolution law of entrepreneurial network. Finally it probes into the problem of how to construct and manage the entrepreneurial network at the levels of entrepreneur,government and society.

Abstract:The entrepreneurship questions under industry cluster context are paid more and more attentions by researchers. The paper investigate 136 entrepreneurs in 7 domestic industry cluster, the result shows the dynamic character of different types of entrepreneur's social network structure .the conclusion of this paper offer theoretical and practical bases for further research in this field.
The Analysis on Heterogeneity and Influencing Factors of Land-lost Farmer Entrepreneurship Will-In Case of South and North Jiangsu Province

Abstract:Entrepreneurship, which works as the driving force of economic development, is conducive to the improvement of living condition of land-lost farmers. Because of the different economic development of south and north Jiangsu province, two types of entrepreneurship pattern has formed, which are opportunity-pull Entrepreneur and necessity-push Entrepreneur. Based on this, the article made survey in 2 villages, 156 land-lost farmers of wuxi and taizhou, and use descriptive analysis and Tobit analysis to come to the core conclusions: The key influencing factor of opportunity-pull Entrepreneur are psychology, education level, the number of entrepreneurs among relatives and friends, finance support environment, entrepreneurship service and cultural environment. The key influencing factor of necessity-push Entrepreneur are marriage, education level, relation with relatives, finance support environment and policy environment. According to the conclusions, the article puts forward some corresponding recommendations.

Abstract:Entrepreneurship is a very important impacting factor in the growth of firms and economies. Firstly, this paper argues that entrepreneurship is a multi-level model adapting to the various environments. And secondly, basing on the analysis of a set of cases from Wenzhou, China, this paper finds that each level of entrepreneurship should be adjusted differently to adapt to the specific entrepreneurial context. This paper also points out that we can’t capture the multifacet meanings of entrepreneurship totally unless integrating these four perspectives: traits, vision, competencies, and culture, while the characteristics of these four levels in the adjustment process are diversity. Finally, possible further research directions are also put forward.

Abstract:The sociological perspective that emphasis external social environment of studying entrepreneurial phenomena and entrepreneurial questions are paid more and more attentions by researchers nowadays. While there are still few empirical researches on studying entrepreneurial process and entrepreneurial behavior under industry cluster context, which is developing rapidly in China now. By investigating 146 entrepreneurs under 7 domestic industry clusters, the paper put forward and test the hypotheses that entrepreneur's personal initiative (PI), social skill and personality factors (including need for achievement, extroversion and internal locus of control) have effect on the constructing process of entrepreneur's social network. The conclusions of this paper offer theoretical and practical bases for further research in this field.

Abstract:Entrepreneurial Economics has become one of the fundermental impetuses of economic growth.However,activity of new venture creation varies in different areas due to environmental diversities.Simultaneity,social capital becomes increasingly significant in this progress since entrepreneurial ideas as well as patterns have changed remarkably.In order to supplement neglects of immaterial elements in previous studies on environment of entrepreneurial,this paper constructs an evaluation system of social capital environment with investigation.We end it with propositions that local govements ought to do something to promote the construction of social capital.

Abstract:Entrepreneurship education has a close bearing on social and economic progress. In recent years, there is a strong wave of technological revolution induced by mobile Internet, later government giving rise to related policies that encourage innovation and entrepreneurship. However, Chinese universities are still remaining in a stage of exploring and developing time that entrepreneurship education nurtures social and economic development, which we call Entrepreneurship education 1.0 phase. This study proposes the concept of Entrepreneurship Education 2.0. Based on the large-scale survey of innovation and entrepreneurship at Stanford University (2012), it analyses the experience and inspiration of Stanford leading global pioneer in Entrepreneurship Education 2.0 phase from three aspects including sources, institutional guarantee and social and economic influence of entrepreneurship education for the purpose of strategically improving the recognition of entrepreneurship education’s contribution to society and economy and taking measures for Chinese universities to step into Entrepreneurship education 2.0.

Abstract:Under the great press of undergraduate employment,to encourage college students to enterprise has become a stable inspired public policy to solve the employment problem.But in the context of college student enterprising policy,there is the dilemma of high level evaluation and low level choice.The essential reason is that the policy of college student entrepreneurship is still not so democratic for undergraduate,and the policy doesn't grasp the special character of its target group.Higher education institutes and the government should examine the enterprising policy from the perspective of the whole system,and realize policy transformation from subsidizing all to encouraging the excellent to construct a more effective policy environment for undergraduate entrepreneurship.

Abstract:Despite the exponential growth of social media use, whether and how social media use may affect entrepreneurial entry remains a key research gap. In this study we examine whether individuals' social media use influences their entrepreneurial entry. Drawing on social network theory, we argue that social media use allows individuals to obtain valuable social capital, as indicated by their offline social network, which increases their entrepreneurial entry. We further posit the relationship between social media use and entrepreneurial entry depends on individuals' trust propensity based on the nature of social media as weak ties. Our model was supported by a nationally representative survey of 18,873 adults in China over two years. As the first paper on the role of social media on entrepreneurial entry, we hope our research highlights and puts forward research intersecting social media and entrepreneurship.

Abstract:It has been increasingly recognized that entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in successful economies. The Schumpeterian approach to growth (Aghion and Howitt, 1997) advances the view that entrepreneurial dynamism is the key to innovation and growth. A growing body of policy work emphasizes the important role of entrepreneurs in economic development (World Bank, 2003). Yet, research on entrepreneurship in economics is rather limited. There are three distinct perspectives on entrepreneurship in social sciences. The first perspective focuses on the role of economic, political, and legal institutions in fostering or restricting entrepreneurship. Institutional problems are seen in credit constraints that make it impossible to borrow and set up businesses; insecurity of property rights that provides insufficient incentives for entrepreneurs; and regulatory burdens that make setting up new enterprises difficult. The second perspective focuses on the sociological variables shaping entrepreneurship. For example, sociologists study the role of values and social networks in promoting or discouraging entrepreneurial activities. Social networks may work through a variety of channels, such as family, friends, or ethnic groups. The third perspective emphasizes individual characteristics of entrepreneurs. Psychologists have studied the traits associated with entrepreneurship - such as a personal need for achievement, belief in the effect of personal effort on outcomes, attitudes towards risk, and individual self-confidence. Although there are studies on each perspective, little work looks at each of these factors taking the other into account. This is precisely what we do in this paper, using a new data set of Chinese entrepreneurs and a matching sample of non-entrepreneurs with similar age, gender and educational characteristics. The survey covers both entrepreneurs and non-entrepreneurs in order to understand how they differ in individual characteristics, family background, social networks, values and beliefs, and perceptions of the institutional environment.
