Application of UNITANK Process in Dongpo Wastewater Treatment Plant

Abstract:Application of UNITANK in Dongpo Wastewater Treatment Plant of Foshan was introduced. In order to investigate low in TP removal, analysis was made on the nitrogen and phosphorus removal in aerobic/anaerobic/aerobic phase of side and central basins. The result shows that the main factors affecting phosphorus removal are the great dilution of influent soluble BOD in reactor, high concentration of NO~-_3-N in anaerobic phase, and insufficient period of stage anaerobic. And so the measures were presented for enhanced phosphorus removal.
