Abstract:Cypress Semiconductor’s EZUSB FX used as USB controller is introduced, andthe difference between EZUSB FX and other USB controller is given. Then the convenience ininterface design between USB and other protocols is shown. At last a designed example betweenUSB and EPP protocol is presented.

Abstract:An interface based on USB is designed for Data Acquirement System with DSP chips. Cypress EZ-USB technology and FPGA technology were used in this interface. This kind of interface can achieve high speed data communication between the Data Acquirement System and the PC in the USB 1.1 protocol, and it can meet the requirements of high speed and real-time requirements.

Abstract:Taking EZ?USB FX2 interface chip as an example,several aspects involved with USB interface design of indus?trial CT data acquisition system are introduced in detail in this paper. In this design,Slave FIFO is used in EZ?USB chip to im?prove the speed of data transmission. In this way, the USB kernel is not involved in the data transmission. Inside the CY7C68013A chip,4 kB configurable endpoint buffer is contained. It is the large capacity data transmission terminal,which can be configured to fulfill high?speed data transmission with peripheral circuit,but does not need 8051 firmware program to join with. The basic framework is contained in the EZ?USB firmware program development kit provided by CYPRESS company. In this paper,the structure and characteristics of the CY7C68013A chip are introduced,the EZ?USB FX2 firmware frame is ana?lyzed,the firmware example code is given,the firmware code loading way is described,and the interface between application program and driver is illustrated. With USB interface developed by means of EZ?USB chip,the development difficulty was great?ly reduced,and the development efficiency was improved.

Abstract:Objective To design a high-speed USB interface which is used in community-oriented health care system.Methods To realize the high-speed data transmission between PC and monitoring system,the authors take good advantage of the EZ-USB-FX2 supplied by Cypress Company.After the brief description of CY7C68013a,it clarified the methods to design a high-speed USB interface by using CY7C68013a.The procedure includes hardware design,firmware development,driver production and PC program development.Results USB interface based on EZ-USB-FX2 was designed.A high-speed USB interface which was used in community-oriented health care system was supplied.Low cost and facilitation of the community-oriented health care system was realized.Conclusion The interface is convenient to be used in community-oriented health care system.

Abstract:Aiming at the problem of the currently popular embedded operating system WinCE.NET,that is not fully supporting USB floppy driver,an implementing strategy for USB floppy based on WinCE.NET is put forward.By adopting stream interface driver model,the USB floppy driving program is developed;The control of USB floppy is implemented with UFI technology.The method and whole procedures for formatting USB floppy are given;the program has been applied successfully in ARM9-based multi-functional computerized embroidery machine.The program is simple and easy to use;it is good reference for developing driving program for similar USB devices.

An embedded converter from other low speed bus to USB is very interesting, since it would allow legacy peripheral devices to experience USB advantages without major changes. Abstract:The general development method of USB host interface based on SoPC system is discussed,and the driver program development of host controller is introduced in detail.A PowerPC-based system on chip is built up by using Xilinx′s EDK software in the ML405 development board.Linux driver program of USB host controller of EZ-Host is designed.The system is capable of communicating with a variety of USB devices,achieves extension of the Linux-based USB interface.The design is helpful to the development of other USB host drivers.

Abstract:A method of implementation FPGA SelectMap mode configuration on USB interface is introduced.It utilize Cypress EZ-USB FX2 LP as the USB device controller chip,and use the endpoint FIFO and GPIF state machine embedded in the EZ-USB to implement a high performance configuration data channel.Further more,several USB vendor requests are designed to control the process of configuration.This configuration method has the benefit of low cost and complexity,high speed and flexibility,and has been selected in several software-defined radio projects,so it is very practical.

Abstract:To satisfy the application requirements for host-computers uni-directional data trans- mission in different security ratings, a design scheme of uni-directional transmission system based on EZ-USB FX2 is presented in this paper. And the system which adopts the Universal Serial Bus(USB)2.0 chip Cy7c68013 and IDT72v06 First in First out(FIFO) memory, realizes uni-directional, high-speed, safe and reliable data transmission between the host-computers in different security domains, with hardware design of external FIFO through General Programmable Interface(GPIF) and application program.

Abstract:With the increasing development of the communication technology,the universal serial bus(USB) as a new interface technology that makes the connection of PCs with peripheral equipments very simple has been extensively adopted.The feature of USB2.0 is introduced firstly,and then the overall plan for designing the control system by using CY7C68013A is presented.The function of the system firmware and the design of drive program are discussed in detail.The key issues which should be taken more attention during the system design are proposed.The control system firmware is programmed with C language.The control interface on PC is developed under the VC++6.0 development environment.The experiment indicates that the whole system runs perfectly well.

Abstract:The E-Bus is a peripheral parallel interface of a self-developed Digital Signal Processor(DSP) chip named YHFT-DSP.It could support various synchronous or asynchronous commerce standards of host-device interface protocols in order to exchange data effectively between them.In order to design,test and apply the E-Bus interface effectively,a set of simulation platform based on E-Bus was implemented.It used hardware/software cooperation and Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) technology to carry out the protocols transformation between E-Bus and USB2.0.The results of test show that the platform has a nice operable interface and implements the data exchange functions between host-device and YHFT-DSP under the master or slave modes of E-Bus.

Abstract:This design is USB HOST technology at the core, Based on the platform with CPU SEP3203 and RTOS with Nucleus PLUS, ISP1160 host controller chip is used to achieve the function of USB HOST. This design support the communication with USB storage device which is compatible with Mass Storage Class protocol. Abstract:Based on the widely used USB communication technology, when the speed requirement is not too high using USB controller chip with I2C bus develops USB interface, you can reduce the use of pin microcontroller ATmega8, simplify connection circuit. This article describes the design method of a Philips company with I2C interface USB interface chip PDIUSBD11, as well as the peripheral hardware circuit connection and USB HID class program design method. The test results show that can reliably achieve communication function between USB and computer, and has good application value.
