Prediction and Control of Construction of Cable_Stayed Bridges

Abstract:Based on the Kalman's filtering theory, a practical method to predict and control the construction of cable_stayed bridges is presented, in which the cable tension and height of carriage are taken as input parameters, the ‘double control’ is known as the bridge configuration control and the cable forces control can be effectively achieved. The method has been adopted for construction of Panyu bridge and has been proved applicable and effective.
