Analysis and engineering practice of temperature stress on super-long concrete structures

Abstract:Temperature stress on super-long concrete structures is an issue,which should be discussed during structure design.Combined with an engineering practice,a computing method about concrete shrinkage and equivalent temperature variation was introduced.A design method about resisting temperature stress of unbonded prestress was used.Several construction measures were used to reduce the temperature variation and shrinkage effects such as reasonable set of late poured band and double beam guide seam.All these methods and measures can effectively reduce the impact of temperature stress in concrete structures.
