The effect of the ion's charge between the X-ray produced by the interaction of Xe~(q+) on Au surface

Abstract:Experiment data of the X-ray spectrum produced by the interaction of Xeq+(q=25~30)with 600keV kinetic energy on Au surface is reported in this paper.The experiments are carried out at the Atomic Physics Research Platform of the Electron Cyclotron Resonance Ion Source at the National Laboratory of Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou.The results show that the yield of the characteristic X-ray increase with the increment of the ion's charge and ions could excite both the characteristic X-ray spectra of Mαof Au and the characteristic X-ray spectra of 1.62keV of Xe when ion's charge is 27. Meanwhile X-ray production mechanism is qualitatively analysed with the classical Coulomb over the Barrier Mode.
