Abstract:In the paper the new technology of solospun and its principle of spinning are introduced. The yarn produced in this method is better than the normal yarn with the same count. This kind of yarn has the high strength and the characteristics of high resistant to abrasion and less hairiness etc. It can improve the efficiency of single strand to weave as well as provide the advantageous conditions for developing high count, light and thin product. Technology of solospun has wide prospect for development and application.

Abstract:This paper tests the performance of melt-blown non-woven fabric materials.Analysis and comparisons of the different samples weight,the breaking strength,the breaking elongation,the amount of breathable,and the water vapor permeability,etc.It was found that there are certain relationships between the non-woven material breaking strength,the breaking elongation,the amount of breathable,moisture permeability and thickness of the volume and weight.Obtained melt-blown non-woven fabric,spunbonded non-woven fabric and SMS nonwovens and so each have unique properties.It is suitable for development the various functional products in the textile industry on a wide range of applications.

Abstract:Nonwoven fabrics have become an extremely important segment of the textile industry in recent years. The technical developments in polymers, nonwoven processing and fabric finishing have led to significant improvements in fabric physical and mechanical properties including fabric handling and drapability, tensile properties, abrasion resistance, pilling and washing stability, dyeing and printing that create prospects for nonwoven fabric applications in particular in apparel outerwear. This chapter briefly discusses the various nonwoven fabric production processes including web formation, web consolidation and finishing. An introduction to different joining techniques is also discussed and at the end future trends in the non woven market are outlined.

Abstract:The research progress in air drag mechanism of spunbonding process and the performance of fiber-web fluidics in hydroentangling process was described. The mathematical modeling of air drag of polymer spunbonding process and the effects of nozzle orifice on the performance of hydroentangling jets and the reinforcement of hydroentangling fiber-web fluidics on the quality of hydroentangled fabrics were analyzed and evaluated, which was the research development trend of spunbonding technology for non-woven fabrics.

Abstract:The spinning process principle of composite yarn was introduced.According to the rebuilding cotton spinning machine and based on the practice in the spinning process,spinning technological process of composite yarn is defined.Some experiments on the primary processing parameters of the composite spinning yarn were carried out,and the influences of spinning factors on composite yarn quality were analyzed by the spinning processes.The problems of end-breakage and unevenness etc. of composite yarn in the spinning process were resolved by reasonable spinning process configuration.The effective technical measures and process parameters were discussed.The results could be as a reference data for improving the quality of composite yarn and developing the new products further.

Abstract:<p>Recently, geotextiles have gained widespread popularity as porous materials in the fields of geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. Spunbonded needle-punched nonwoven geotextiles is an important part of the nonwoven geotextile family. In these geotextiles, filaments are mechanically entangled to form a complex three-dimensional structure, which provides the geotextile a bulky nature. Additionally, this unique fabrication process ensures provision of a variety of widely distributed pores which are essential for the targeted functions of filtration and drainage. This review summarizes manufacturing process of spunbonded needle-punched nonwoven geotextiles and highlights the relationship among process parameters, fabric structure and hydraulic properties. At last, the paper reviews the failure mechanism and design principle of the filtration and drainage performance of geotextile.</p>

Abstract:This review article forces on discussing the differences and relationships of three nanofiber technologies—electrospinning, centrifugal spinning, and electro‐centrifugal spinning. It mainly summarizes the existing devices and crucial processing parameters. The electro‐centrifugal spinning combines the strengths of electrospinning and centrifugal spinning, showing potentials in processing elegant nanofibers in large scale. Nanofiber‐based products are widely used in the fields of public health, air/water filtration, energy storage, etc. The demand for nonwoven products is rapidly increasing especially after COVID‐19 pandemic. Electrospinning is the most popular technology to produce nanofiber‐based products from various kinds of materials in bench and commercial scales. While centrifugal spinning and electro‐centrifugal spinning are considered to be the other two well‐known technologies to fabricate nanofibers. However, their developments are restricted mainly due to the unnormalized spinning devices and spinning principles. High solution concentration and high production efficiency are the two main strengths of centrifugal spinning, but beaded fibers can be formed easily due to air perturbation or device vibration. Electro‐centrifugal spinning is formed by introducing a high voltage electrostatic field into the centrifugal spinning system, which suppresses the formation of beaded fibers and results in producing elegant nanofibers. It is believed that electrospinning can be replaced by electro‐centrifugal spinning in some specific application areas. This article gives an overview on the existing devices and the crucial processing parameters of these nanofiber technologies, also constructive suggestions are proposed to facilitate the development of centrifugal and electro‐centrifugal spinning.
