Abstract:In order to solve the problems of low localization rate and poor stability of laser ranging system, a system based on the TDC-GP22 timing unit and the pulsed laser ranging method in the time-of-flight (TOF) method is designed to realize laser ranging. The domestic AL0905P75WT18-03FW laser diode and power MOS tube are used as the laser transmitter module to realize the high stability of laser emission, and the domestic AA-S0905 L0500 LCC3-2-B avalanche diode is used as the laser detector to convert the optical signal into current signal, which is further processed by amplification, filtering and so on and then passed through the TDC-GP22 to realize the laser distance measurement. After further processing, the light signal is converted into current signal through amplification, filtering and other further processing, through TDC-GP22 timing, thus realizing laser distance measurement. The system adopts domestic light source and photodetector, domestic voltage regulator chip, operational amplifier and FPGA chip, which improves the reliability, stability and autonomy of the system.

Abstract:The laser technique based sensors and actuators can provide many superior properties as noncontact, high sensitivity, remote operation, and reliable performance in contrast to other mechanical and electrical techniques. In this paper, we design and fabricate a high-precision 360 degrees laser receiver for leveling, especially for agricultural and construction field. The laser receiver is primarily composed of photoelectrical conversion module, electrical signal processing module, and display panel module. Based on the centroid method, the detection error of the laser receiver with respect to laser source and silicon photocell array, is analyzed and simulated. The design and fabrication process are described in detail, including the overall structure and electrical circuits. Furthermore, this fabricated laser receiver is demonstrated to be high precision through several static and dynamic tests in the distance of 10 and 50 m. Besides, this fabricated laser possesses wireless transmission function, which provides much convenient for users in remote operation.

Abstract:In the self - developed laser micro - processing system , the laser beam source is fixed and the processing workpiece is set on the X - Y's mobile platform . The various graved diagrams are processed by the relative motions between the laser beam and the workpiece whose 2D movements are realized by the movements of the X - Y platform controlled by the single chip control system. As a kernel of the control system for this device, the controller communicates with PC through the serial interface and receives the process trace files downloaded by PC and the moving orders. The single chip control system of the laser micro -processing device is a closed loop control system in which the stepping motor acts as the executor and the grating ruler is the feedback element. As a result, the position control error of the system is smaller than 2 am with the grating ruler measurement being the standard.

Abstract:To get much better effect of laser acupuncture, The objective of this work is to design and build a low cost portable laser acupuncture therapeutic apparatus, which can realize the real-time stable control of the power output and temperature of LD. The laser source is 30 mW AlGalnP laser diode with an emission wavelength of 650 nm. Fuzzy- PID control theory is used to control the power output and temperature of LD. The MSP430 microcontroller system is used as the control central of the apparatus.

Abstract:Abstract The wireless laser engraving machine system is designed by using the wireless data transmission and programming processing ability of MCU esp8266. The browser of computer accesses the micro web server built in MCU through wireless channel to realize real-time control of engraving. MCU establishes and maintains the Wi-Fi channel for computer connection. The computer browser downloads and runs the HTML5 Web APP stored in MCU flash memory to generate the operation interface. The APP completes the image loading, graying, binarization, thinning, vectorization and other processing. In the browser, the final G-codes are generated and sent back to MCU in real time. The MCU executes G-codes line by line. According to the intention of G-codes, MCU uses linear interpolation algorithm to control stepping motor and PWM to control laser intensity. Finally, the engraving or cutting is completed in a perfect way. The core hardware circuit requires only one MCU and two driver ICs. So the design is portable, easy to be assembled, precise to be controlled and low cost. And the open software architecture makes it more extensible, compatible and easy to be deployed.

Abstract:To achieve high speed clothing cutting with high control precision,the control system for cutting automatically by laser is developed.Taking advantages of digital signal processor TMS320F2812′s rich hardware resources,the system improved laser cutting technology and tangent motion interpolation algorithm.Based on laser cutting principle and general design ideas of auto-cutting system,the mechanical structure with hardware and software is developed for the cutting control system.It involved secure digital card storage and FAT32 file management process,realizing the transmission of files for trajectory control.The results indicated that this automatic laser-cutting system fulfils cutting more exactly and efficiently.Compared with conventional products,it deleted the vibration from mechanical cutter,meanwhile improving the work efficiency and quality for clothing cutting or pattern cutting.

Abstract:Based on the reliable function and simple design,taking good advantages of the advanced controller and control technology,a loom machine system design based on ARM is presented in this paper,which uses S3CEV40 of EMBEST Company as a centre part and functional models as periphery,making up of the hardware part and composed according to the technical procedure.The IO expandance based on CPLD make the whole system flexible and powerful.Motor driver module is another major component of this system.It adopts ARM chip-based frequency vector control strategy.In software,it servo controls motor in interrupt mode.It is turned out to be reliable in function and simple in implement by practice.

Abstract:Laser marking is an important branch of the laser information processing technology. The existing laser marking machine based on PC and WINDOWS operating system, are large and inconvenient to move. Still, it cannot work outdoors or in other harsh environments. In order to compensate for the above mentioned disadvantages, this paper proposed an embedded laser marking controller based on ARM and FPGA processors. Based on the principle of laser galvanometer scanning marking, the hardware and software were designed for the application. Experiments showed that this new embedded laser marking controller controls the galvanometers synchronously and could achieve precise marking.

Abstract:The MSP430 series MCU has been widely used in many digital electronic products involved in the field.In the design,the four quadrant detector and MSP430 series microcontroller by means of combining with the method of hardware and software achieve the goal of accurate positioning and tracking.Through the experimental results and analysis,this paper design can effectively achieve the target searching and tracking.And the application of MSP430 series microcontroller reduces power consumption and improves the development efficiency,shorten the development cycle.

Abstract:The remote laser device based on ZigBee module is designed for the research of nervous system.This remote laser device has many advantages,including high integration,high portability,small size,low cost,and stable operation etc.The adjustments of current pulse width and frequency are achieved by using MCU and a C program.This remote control device can be used in a distance as far as 300 meters to drive the diode-pumped solid-state laser,and is coupled with FC/PC optical fiber connector.Constant temperature control ensures the stable output power of the laser device,thus efficiently extending the lifetime of laser diodes.Based on ZigBee’s special self-organized networking,this device is of great application prospects.

Abstract:Laser tweezers can capture and move small particles. It has advantages such as non-contact and non-invasive, which make it very useful in biology, medicine, materials fields. Laser scissors or laser micro-beam can perforate or cut biological tissue with sub-micron accuracy. A workstation combining the two technologies together acting as a cellular operating lab is introduced in this paper. Our system features a multifunctional and user-friendly control software, which make the system effective and convenient. Based on this control program both laser tweezers and scissors can be operated with a computer automatically. In addition, some self-developed devices such as PZT drivers and photodetector give the system a high performance in accuracy and stability. All these make our system convenient, multifunctional and powerful.

Abstract:The present work consists of the development of a control system by means of a microprocessor for a prototype of engraving of non-metallic materials using a semiconductor laser, which has the purpose of carrying out said process without the use of any image processing software as they do. other common marketing devices. This prototype is based on a Cartesian positioning robot, built with a 20mm structural aluminum profile, a 450nm wavelength laser module at 1W of power adjustable by PWM pulse width modulation, 3 motors with Nema 17 bipolar steps, an ATMega2560 microcontroller and a CNC shield card. As a result, we obtain a prototype of a laser engraver with a microcontroller control system, which according to the tests carried out has an efficiency of 95%, capable of carrying out a maximum of 27 engraving processes every 60 minutes with a 30-minute break and that does not use image processing software.

Abstract:Since the first laser-needles acupuncture apparatus was introduced in therapy, this kind of apparatuses has been well used in laser biomedicine, as its non-invasion, free-pain, non-bacterium, safety, smart application and convenient operation. To get much better effect of laser acupuncture, the objective of this work was to design and build a low cost portable laser acupuncture therapeutic apparatus, which can implement two essential acupuncture manipulating methods, lifting and thrusting of acupuncture, and twisting and twirling of acupuncture. The laser source is 30 mW AlGaInP laser diode with an emission wavelength of 650 nm. The drive circuit of diode laser is designed, and digital PID control theory is used to control the power of LD. Special optical system is designed The MSP430 microcontroller system is used as the control central of the apparatus.
