Abstract:In this paper, we reveal that a weak entwining structure admits a rich cohomology theory. As an application we compute the cohomology of a weak entwining structure associated to a weak coalgebra-Galois extension.

Abstract:The notions of a ''weak group entwining structure'' and an ''invertible weak group entwining structure'' are introduced. Furthermore, the relationship between them and group corings is also investigated. It turns out that (weak) group entwining structures and (weak) group entwined modules can be viewed as group corings and comodules over group corings, respectively, which generalizes the recent work of Brzezinski (2002) and Brzezinski et al. (2006).

Abstract:We first introduce the definitions of weak semi-Hopf group coalgebras, weak group entwining structures and weak group coalgebra Galois extensions, then we state that any weak group coalgebra. Galois extension induces a weak group entwining map compatible with the right group coaction. Notice that when the group is trivial our results axe just those of weak entwining structures in [3], at the same time they are also a generalization of group coalgebra Galois extensions and group entwining structures introduced by Shuan-hong Wang in [9].

Abstract:The cohomology H * (Gamma, E) of an arithmetic subgroup F of a connected reductive algebraic group G defined over some algebraic number field F can be interpreted in terms of the automorphic spectrum of Gamma. With this framework in place, there is a sum decomposition of the cohomology into the cuspidal cohomology (i.e., classes represented by cuspidal automorphic forms for G) and the so-called Eisenstein cohomology constructed as the span of appropriate residues or derivatives of Eisenstein series attached to cuspidal automorphic forms on the Levi components of proper parabolic F-subgroups of G. The main objective of this paper is to isolate a specific structural part in the Eisenstein cohomology. This pertains to regular Eisenstein cohomology classes attached to cuspidal automorphic representations whose archimedean component is tempered. It is shown that the cohomological degree of these classes is bounded from below by the constant q(0)(G(R)) = ((1 /2)[dim X-G(R) - (rk(G(R)) - rk(K-R))], where KR denotes a maximal compact subgroup of the real Lie group G(R), where XG(R) is the associated symmetric space. This investigation has various applications. One of these is a vanishing result,for the cohomology in the generic case (i.e., where coefficient system E has regular highest weight) the representation determining the in degrees below q(0) (G (R)). This is a sharp bound depending only on the underlying real Lie group G (R) (Corollary 5.6, Proposition 5.8). This result is supplemented by a qualitative structural result in the description of the cohomology in higher degrees by means of regular Eisenstein cohomology classes.

Abstract:In this paper, we mainly construct the quantum double D(H) of a weak T-coalgebra H and then prove that it is also a weak Hopf group coalgebra. Furthermore, we prove that the category of modules over D(H) is isomorphic to the category of weak Yetter–Drinfeld group modules.

Abstract:We give a description of the cohomology groups of the structure sheaf on smooth compactifications of Deligne–Lusztig varieties X ( w ) for , for all elements w in the Weyl group. As a consequence, we obtain the and integral p -adic étale cohomology of . Moreover, using our result for and a spectral sequence associated to a stratification of , we deduce the and integral p -adic étale cohomology with compact support of X ( w ). In our proof of the main theorem, in addition to considering the Demazure–Hansen smooth compactifications of X ( w ), we show that a similar class of constructions provide smooth compactifications of X ( w ) in the case of . Furthermore, we show in the appendix that the Zariski closure of X ( w ), for any connected reductive group G and any w , has pseudo-rational singularities.

Abstract:In this paper, we mainly introduce the notion of weak measure of weak entwining structures which is used to discuss the functors between two categories of weak entwined modules. In addition, we show that Frobenius property and Maschke-type theorem still hold for weak entwined modules.

Abstract:Let G be a real reductive group with an involution σ on it. Let H be an open subgroup of Gσ with a character χ on it. Associated to a “theta stable”, “σ-split” parabolic subalgebra, and using the Zuckerman functor, we construct representations of G together with χ-equivariant linear functionals on them. We apply this construction to prove a non-vanishing hypothesis of H. Grobner and A. Raghuram in the study of algebraicity of critical L-values.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to use Clifford monoids to define weak Hopf quivers and to construct the corresponding class of weak Hopf algebras, i.e., the semilattice of graded weak Hopf algebras which were found to be useful in obtaining a regular R-matrix of a quantum double without a quasi-triangular structure. We define weak Hopf quivers and classify the semilattice of graded weak Hopf algebra structures over path coalgebras using weak Hopf quivers. This gives, precisely, a generalization of the classification of the graded weak Hopf algebra structures over path coalgebras using such quivers.

The algebra structure of weak Hopf algebras corresponding to Uq(sl2) can be written as the direct sum of Uq(sl2) and an algebra of polynomials. The coalgebra structure of weak Hopf algebras corresponding to Uq(sl2) are classified by their Ext quiver. There are four types of such structures.

Abstract:We introduce new finite-dimensional cohomologies on symplectic manifolds. Each exhibits Lefschetz decomposition and contains a unique harmonic representative within each class. Associated with each cohomology is a primitive cohomology defined purely on the space of primitive forms. We identify the dual currents of lagrangians and more generally coisotropic submanifolds with elements of a primitive cohomology, which dualizes to a homology on coisotropic chains.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate cohomologies and non-abelian extensions of lambda-weighted Rota-Baxter Lie coalgebras. First, we consider Lie comodules and cohomologies of lambda-weighted Rota-Baxter Lie coalgebras. Next, we study non-abelian extensions of lambda-weighted Rota-Baxter Lie coalgebras and classify the non-abelian extensions in terms of non-abelian cohomology group. Furthermore, we explore extensibility of a pair of automorphisms about a non-abelian extension of lambda-weighted Rota-Baxter Lie coalgebras, and derive the fundamental sequences of Wells in the context of lambda-weighted Rota-Baxter Lie coalgebras. Finally, we discuss the previous results in the case of abelian extensions of lambda-weighted Rota-Baxter Lie coalgebras.

Diffuse radio emission in a REFLEX cluster

Abstract:Deep Very Large Array radio observations are presented for the REFLEX clusters RXCJ0437.1+0043 and RXCJ1314.4-2515. They are at similar distance and show similar X-ray luminosity, but they are quite different in X-ray structure. Indeed RXCJ0437.1+0043 is regular and relaxed, whereas RXCJ1314.4-2515 is characterized by substructure and possible merging processes. The radio images reveal no diffuse emission in RXCJ0437.1+0043, and a complex diffuse structure in RXCJ1314.4-2515. The diffuse source in the latter cluster consists of a central radio halo which extends to the West toward the cluster periphery and bends to the North to form a possible relic. Another extended source is detected in the eastern cluster peripheral region. Although there could be plausible optical identifications for this source, it might also be a relic candidate owing to its very steep spectrum. The present results confirm the tight link between diffuse cluster radio sources and cluster merger processes.

Abstract:A Koszul duality-type correspondence between coderived categories of conilpotent differential graded Lie coalgebras and their Chevalley-Eilenberg differential graded algebras is established. This gives an interpretation of Lie coalgebra cohomology as a certain kind of derived functor. A similar correspondence is proved for coderived categories of commutative cofibrant differential graded algebras and their Harrison differential graded Lie coalgebras.

Cohomological integrality for weakly symmetric representations of reductive groups

Abstract:In this paper, we prove the integrality conjecture for quotient stacks arising from weakly symmetric representations of reductive groups. Our main result is a decomposition of the cohomology of the stack into finite-dimensional components indexed by some equivalence classes of cocharacters of a maximal torus. This decomposition enables the definition of new enumerative invariants associated with the stack, which we begin to explore.

Abstract:In the theory of configuration spaces, "splitting" usually refers to the phenomenon that the configuration spaces on a manifold and those on its punctured version are closely related cohomologically. We prove a splitting theorem that is equivariant and mixed-Hodge-theoretic; both are new features in such results. As an application, we determine the generating function for the mixed Hodge numbers of the unordered configuration spaces of a multi-punctured elliptic curve.

Abstract:We prove that the structure algebra of a Bruhat moment graph of a finite real root system is a Hopf algebroid with respect to the Hecke and the Weyl actions. We introduce new techniques (reconstruction and push-forward formula of a product, twisted coproduct, double quotients of bimodules) and apply them together with our main result to linear algebraic groups, to generalized Schubert calculus, to combinatorics of Coxeter groups and finite real root systems. As for groups, it implies that the natural Hopf-algebra structure on the algebraic oriented cohomology $h(G)$ of Levine-Morel of a split semi-simple linear algebraic group $G$ can be lifted to a `bi-Hopf' structure on the $T$-equivariant algebraic oriented cohomology of the complete flag variety. As for the Schubert calculus, we prove several new identities involving (double) generalized equivariant Schubert classes. As for finite real root systems, we compute the Hopf-algebra structure of `virtual cohomology' of dihedral groups $I_2(p)$, where $p$ is an odd prime.
