Abstract:We study Hom-Lie superalgebras of Heisenberg type. For 3-dimensional Heisenberg Hom-Lie superalgebras we describe their Hom-Lie super structures, compute the cohomology spaces and characterize their infinitesimal deformations.

Abstract:Given an arithmetic lattice of the unitary group U(3,1) arising from a hermitian form over a CM-field, we show that all unitary representations of U(3,1) with nonzero cohomology contribute to the cohomology of the attached arithmetic complex 3-manifold, at least when we pass to a finite-index subgroup of the given arithmetic lattice.

Abstract:A (pre-)Lie-morphism triple consists of two (pre-)Lie algebras and a (pre-)Lie algebra homomorphism between them. We give chomologies of pre-Lie-morphism triples. As an application, we study the infinitesimal deformations of pre-Lie-morphism triples. Finally, we show that the cohomology of the pre-Lie-morphism triple can be deduced from a new cohomology of the Lie-morphism triple.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce the representation of modified $\lambda$-differential $3$-Lie algebras and define the cohomology of modified $\lambda$-differential $3$-Lie algebras with coefficients in a representation. As applications of the proposed cohomology theory, we study linear deformations, abelian extensions and $T^*$-extensions of modified $\lambda$-differential $3$-Lie algebras.

Abstract:Generalising a previous work of Jiang and Sheng, a cohomology theory for differential Lie algebras of arbitrary weight is introduced. The underlying $L_\infty[1]$-structure on the cochain complex is also determined via a generalised version of higher derived brackets. The equivalence between $L_\infty[1]$-structures for absolute and relative differential Lie algebras are established. Formal deformations and abelian extensions are interpreted by using lower degree cohomology groups. Also we introduce the homotopy differential Lie algebras. In a forthcoming paper, we will show that the operad of homotopy (relative) differential Lie algebras is the minimal model of the operad of (relative) differential Lie algebras.

Abstract:Journal of Algebra and Its Applications, Ahead of Print. The purpose of this paper is to study cohomologies of differential [math]-Lie algebras with any weight and applications. First, we introduce representations of differential [math]-Lie algebras. Moreover, we develop cohomology theory of differential [math]-Lie algebras. We also depict the relationship between the cohomologies of a differential [math]-Lie algebra and its associated differential Leibniz algebra with weight zero. Finally, formal deformations, abelian extensions and skeletal differential [math]-Lie 2-algebras are characterized in terms of cohomology groups.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce the notion of embedding tensor on 3-Hom-Lie algebras and naturally induce 3-Hom-Leibniz algebras. Moreover, the cohomology theory of embedding tensors on 3-Hom-Lie algebras is defined. As an application, we show that if two linear deformations of an embedding tensor on a 3-Hom-Lie algebra are equivalent, then their infinitesimals belong to the same cohomology class in the first cohomology group.

Abstract:We study the homology and cohomology groups of super Lie algebras of supersymmetries and of super Poincaré Lie algebras in various dimensions. We give complete answers for (non-extended) supersymmetry in all dimensions ⩽11. For dimensions D=10,11 we describe also the cohomology of reduction of supersymmetry Lie algebra to lower dimensions. Our methods can be applied to extended supersymmetry Lie algebras.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduced the notion of Hom-Lie antialgebras. The representations and cohomology theory of Hom-Lie antialgebras are investigated. We prove that the equivalent classes of abelian extensions of Hom-Lie antialgebras are in one-to-one correspondence to elements of the second cohomology group. We also prove that 1-parameter infinitesimal deformation of a Hom-Lie antialgebra are characterized by 2-cocycles of this Hom-Lie antialgebra with adjoint representation in itself. The notion of Nijenhuis operators of Hom-Lie antialgebra is introduced to describe trivial deformations.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider deformations of Lie 2-algebras via the cohomology theory. We prove that a 1-parameter infinitesimal deformation of a Lie 2-algebra g corresponds to a 2-cocycle of g with the coefficients in the adjoint representation. A Nijenhuis operator on a Lie 2-algebra is introduced to describe trivial deformations. Abstract:The Heisenberg Lie algebras over an algebraically closed field F of characteristic p > 0 always admit a family of restricted Lie algebras. We use the ordinary 1- and 2-cohomology spaces with adjoint coefficients to compute the restricted 1- and 2-cohomology spaces of these restricted Heisenberg Lie algebras. We describe the infinitesimal restricted deformations of the restricted Lie algebras.

In this paper, we construct a differential graded Lie algebra whose Maurer–Cartan elements are given by crossed homomorphisms on Leibniz algebras. This allows us to define cohomology for a crossed homomorphism. Finally, we study linear deformations, formal deformations and extendibility of finite order deformations of a crossed homomorphism in terms of the cohomology theory.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider compatible Hom-Leibniz algebra where the Hom map twists the operations in the compatible system. We consider a suitably graded Lie algebra whose Maurer-Cartan elements characterize the structure of compatible Hom-Leibniz algebras. Using this, we study cohomology, infinitesimal deformations, the Nijenhuis operator, and their relation for compatible Hom-Leibniz algebras. Finally we see the cohomology of compatible Hom-Leibniz algebra with coefficients in an arbitrary representation.

Abstract:In this paper, we first introduce the notions of a compatible Lie triple system and its representation. We construct a bidifferential graded Lie algebra whose Maurer–Cartan elements are compatible Lie triple systems. We also obtain the bidifferential graded Lie algebra which controls deformations of a compatible Lie triple system. Then we investigate the cohomology theory of compatible Lie triple systems and consider the connection between the cohomology group of compatible Lie triple systems and the cohomology group of Lie triple systems. Furthermore, we develop the 1-parameter formal deformation theory of compatible Lie triple systems and prove that it is governed by the cohomology groups. At last, we study abelian extensions of compatible Lie triple systems and classify them by the second cohomology group.

Abstract:To study infinitesimal deformation problems with cohomology constraints, we introduce and study cohomology jump functors for differential graded Lie algebra (DGLA) pairs. We apply this to local systems, vector bundles, Higgs bundles, and representations of fundamental groups. The results obtained describe the analytic germs of the cohomology jump loci inside the corresponding moduli space, extending previous results of Goldman-Millson, Green-Lazarsfeld, Nadel, Simpson, Dimca-Papadima, and of the second author.

Abstract:We study representations of hemistrict Lie 2-algebras and give a functorial construction of their cohomology. We prove that both the cohomology of an injective hemistrict Lie 2-algebra $L$ and the cohomology of the semistrict Lie 2-algebra obtained from skew-symmetrization of $L$ are isomorphic to the Chevalley-Eilenberg cohomology of the induced Lie algebra $L_{\operatorname{Lie}}$.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce the notion of crossed homomorphisms between Lie-Yamaguti algebras and establish the cohomology theory of crossed homomorphisms via the Yamaguti cohomology. Consequently, we use this cohomology to characterize linear deformations of crossed homomorphisms between Lie-Yamaguti algebras. We show that if two linear or formal deformations of a crossed homomorphism are equivalent, then their infinitesimals are in the same cohomology class in the first cohomology group. Moreover, we show that an order $n$ deformation of a crossed homomorphism can be extended to an order $n+1$ deformation if and only if the obstruction class in the second cohomology group is trivial.

Abstract:For a transitive Lie algebroid A on a connected manifold M and its a representation on a vector bundle F, we study the localization map Y^1: H^1(A,F)-> H^1(L_x,F_x), where L_x is the adjoint algebra at x in M. The main result in this paper is that: Ker Y^1_x=Ker(p^{1*})=H^1_{deR}(M,F_0). Here p^{1*} is the lift of H^1(\huaA,F) to its counterpart over the universal covering space of M and H^1_{deR}(M,F_0) is the F_0=H^0(L,F)-coefficient deRham cohomology. We apply these results to study the associated vector bundles to principal fiber bundles and the structure of transitive Lie bialgebroids.

Abstract:We introduce new finite-dimensional cohomologies on symplectic manifolds. Each exhibits Lefschetz decomposition and contains a unique harmonic representative within each class. Associated with each cohomology is a primitive cohomology defined purely on the space of primitive forms. We identify the dual currents of lagrangians and more generally coisotropic submanifolds with elements of a primitive cohomology, which dualizes to a homology on coisotropic chains.

Abstract:We consider Lie algebroids over an algebraic space (or topological ringed space) as quasicoherent sheaves of Lie-Rinehart algebras. We express hypercohomology for a locally free Lie algebroid (not necessarily of finite rank) as a derived functor, and simplify it via Čech cohomology. Furthermore, we define the Hochschild hypercohomology of a sheaf of generalized bialgebras and study the cases of the universal enveloping algebroid and the jet algebroid of a Lie algebroid. In the sequel, we present a version of Hochschild-Kostant-Rosenberg theorem for a locally free Lie algebroid, as well as its dual version.
