Abstract:In a supersymmetric extension of the standard model where baryon and lepton numbers are local gauge symmetries(BLMSSM) and the Yukawa couplings between Higgs doublets and exotic quarks are considered, we study the one loop diagrams and the two-loop Barr-Zee type diagrams with a closed Fermi(scalar) loop between the vector Boson and Higgs. Using the effective Lagrangian method, we deduce the Wilson coefficients of dimension 6 operators contributing to the anomalous magnetic moment of muon, which satisfies the electromagnetic gauge invariance. In the numerical analysis, we consider the experiment constraints from Higgs and neutrino data. In some parameter space, the new physics contribution is large and even reaches 24 × 10−10, which can remedy the deviation well.

Abstract:In this review we do not try to cover all the aspects of physics beyond the standard model (BSM), instead our latest understanding on the BSM will be presented: i) The Higgs sector is likely related to BSM, which can be confirmed at current running large hadron collider (LHC) or the future colliders. Furthermore we pointed out that spontaneous CP violation can be closely related to the lightness of the Higgs boson. ii) Top quark forward-backward asymmetry, which was measured by Tevatron, might be the sign of BSM. We proposed a new color-octet particle Z(C) to account for the observation and ZC can be further studied at the LHC. iii) If dark matter (DM) is utilized to accommodate astrophysical observations, it ought to be observed at the high energy LHC and DM produced at colliders should be the smoking gun signal. iv) Lithium puzzle might also be the sign of the BSM. We briefly review the newly proposed solution to Lithium puzzle, i. e., the existence of non-thermal component during the big bang nuclei-synthesis (BBN). The possible origins of the non-thermal component can be dark matter or the new accelerating mechanism of normal particles.

Abstract:Abstract We rectify a typographical error in equation (3.14) from the original version of this article, pertaining to the effective Higgs-Majoron coupling, λ(0) JJh 1 , expressed in the mass eigenbasis. Notably, the same error persisted in the computational routines used in our work. This oversight resulted in a discrepancy in the numerical calculation of the invisible Higgs decay branching fraction, Br(h 1 → JJ), affecting a subset of the sampled points. While the main conclusions remain unaltered, we provide an updated version of our results.

Abstract:According to a commonly held view of spontaneously broken symmetry in gauge theories, troublesome Nambu-Goldstone bosons are effectively eliminated by turning into longitudinal modes of a massive vector meson. This note shows that this is not in fact a consistent view of the role of Nambu-Goldstone bosons in such theories. These particles necessarily appear as gauge excitations whenever they are formulated in a manifestly covariant gauge. The radiation gauge provides therefore the dual advantage of circumventing the Goldstone theorem and making evident the disappearance of these particles from the physical spectrum.

Abstract:In a recent article, Ayala et al. [Phys. Rev. D 73, 105009 (2006)] have studied the dynamical generation of masses for fundamental fermions in strongly coupled QED in the presence of weak magnetic fields. We argue that the results and conclusions of the article are not reliable as they are subject to gauge dependent artifacts resulting from an inconsistent truncation of the Schwinger-Dyson equations.
