Abstract:In this paper, we consider a class of Hessian quotient equations in the warped product manifold $\overline{M}=I\times_{\lambda}M$. Under some sufficient conditions, we obtain an existence result for the star-shaped compact hypersurface $\Sigma$ in $\overline{M}$ using standard degree theory based on a priori estimates for solutions to the Hessian quotient equations.

Abstract:We prove several formulas related to Hodge theory and the Kodaira–Spencer–Kuranishi deformation theory of Kähler manifolds. As applications, we present a construction of globally convergent power series of integrable Beltrami differentials on Calabi–Yau manifolds and also a construction of global canonical family of holomorphic (n,0) -forms on the deformation spaces of Calabi–Yau manifolds. Similar constructions are also applied to the deformation spaces of compact Kähler manifolds.

Abstract:We treat two quite different problems related to changes of complex structures on Kähler manifolds by using global geometric method. First, by using operators from Hodge theory on compact Kähler manifold, we present a closed explicit extension formula for holomorphic canonical forms in different complex structures. As applications, we give a closed explicit formula for certain canonical sections of Hodge bundles on marked and polarized moduli spaces of projective manifolds, and provide a closed explicit extension formula for holomorphic pluricanonical forms under certain natural conditions. Second, by using the operators in L^2-Hodge theory on Poincaré disk, we present a simple and unified method to solve the Beltrami equations with measurable coefficients for quasi-conformal maps.

Abstract:Given a compact Riemannian manifold M and an open interval I in R, we consider a warped product manifold . For a positive function f defined on , we obtain the existence of the ( η , k )-convex hypersurface Σ which satisfies a Hessian quotient equation for 0 ⩽ l < k < n , and η = Hg − h , the first Newton transformation of the second fundamental form h . This generalizes the result of Chen et al. (2020) and gives a simpler proof of the curvature estimate. As a corollary, we can get an ( η , k )-convex solution for in R n +1 for some prescribed function h , which can be viewed as the prescribed curvature measure type problem.

Abstract:We prove the symmetry of solutions to overdetermined problems for a class of fully nonlinear equations, namely Hessian quotient equations and Hessian quotient curvature equations. Our approach is based on establishing a Rellich-Pohozaev type identity for Hessian quotient equations and using a P function. Our result generalizes the overdetermined problems for k-Hessian equations and k-curvature equations.

Abstract:Consider a quasi-linear system of two Klein–Gordon equations with masses m1, m2. We prove that when m1≠2m2 and m2≠2m1, such a system has global solutions for small, smooth, compactly supported Cauchy data. This extends a result proved by Sunagawa (J. Differential Equations 192 (2) (2003) 308) in the semi-linear case. Moreover, we show that global existence holds true also when m1=2m2 and a convenient null condition is satisfied by the nonlinearities.

Abstract:In this paper, we establish the existence and uniqueness theorem for solutions of the exterior Dirichlet problem for Hessian quotient equations with prescribed asymptotic behavior at infinity. This extends the previous related results on the Monge–Ampère equations and on the Hessian equations, and rearranges them in a systematic way. Based on the Perron's method, the main ingredient of this paper is to construct some appropriate subsolutions of the Hessian quotient equation, which is realized by introducing some new quantities about the elementary symmetric polynomials and using them to analyze the corresponding ordinary differential equation related to the generalized radially symmetric subsolutions of the original equation.

Abstract:In this note, we prove the existence of one particular class of starshaped compact hypersurfaces, by deriving global curvature estimates for such hypersurfaces; this generalizes the main result in [Hypersurfaces of prescribed mixed Weingarten curvature. J. Geom. Anal. $\textbf{34}$ (2024).] from the Euclidean space to Riemannian warped products. Moreover, we show that interior second order a priori estimates for admissible solutions to the associated fully nonlinear elliptic partial differential equations can be readily established by similar arguments.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the Neumann problem for parabolic Hessian quotient equations. We show that the $k$-admissible solution of the parabolic Hessian quotient equation exists for all time and converges to the smooth solution of elliptic Hessian quotient equations. Also the solutions of the classical Neumann problem converge to a translating solution.

Abstract:Recently, Montiel [7] proved that an n-dimensional (n ≥ 3) complete spacelike hypersurface in de Sitter space S 1 1 +1 (1) with constant mean curvature H satisfying H 2 = 4 (n − 1)/n 2 which is not connected at infinity must be, up to rigidity motion, a certain hyperbolic cylinder. In this paper, we prove that Montiel's result still holds for higher codimensional spacelike submanifolds in de Sitter space S n p +p (1).

Abstract:In the paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness results of the $C^{1,1}$ regular graphic hypersurface for Dirichlet problem of a class of degenerate Hessian quotient type curvature equations under the condition $\psi^{\frac{1}{k-l}}\in C^{1,1}(\overline{\Omega}\times\mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{S}^n)$. Specially, we also consider the second order derivative estimates for the corresponding degenerate Hessian type curvature equations under the optimal condition $\psi^{\frac{1}{k-1}}\in C^{1,1}(\overline{\Omega}\times\mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{S}^n)$.
