Abstract:In order to carry out the strategy of invigorating China through science and education, to support the high-quality development of education, and to cope with the changing internal and external environment and service needs, the 15 th Creative Forum for Library Management and Service（CFLMS） was held under the theme of “management and service of academic libraries in the context of new technologies: innovation on upholding fundamental principles”. The forum extensively and deeply discussed the hot issues of librarianship to support the “Double First-Class” initiative, such as academic library construction strategies, development of smart library, new academic communication platforms, innovation of university discipline services, and evolution of university library functions. The article presents a comprehensive overview of the main contents of the forum, aiming at sharing the special cases of each library and exploring new ideas for the high-quality development of libraries in the context of new technologies.
