Study on the Ways of University Library' Participating in the Community Public Culture Services under the Background of New Urbanization

Abstract:With the further deepening of reform and opening up Chinese, new urbanization has been rapidly developed; the shortage of community public culture service has become a grim reality. With the rapid development of Chinese higher education, the central government educational funds input has entered into the "4%" era, libraries of colleges and universities of China have already had the resources, talents and basic conditions to participate in the construction of public cultural service system. The participation way mainly include: active participation in the resources sharing mechanism guided by the government; provide digital resources sharing service by using information technology; use of local characteristic literature and academic and professional resources to support economic and social development; develop community public culture service activities in various forms.
