Abstract:An interface based on USB is designed for Data Acquirement System with DSP chips. Cypress EZ-USB technology and FPGA technology were used in this interface. This kind of interface can achieve high speed data communication between the Data Acquirement System and the PC in the USB 1.1 protocol, and it can meet the requirements of high speed and real-time requirements.

Abstract:This paper focuses on the design of hardware framework about DSP-based embedded License Plate Detection system including the detailed technology of circuit design among image sensor, DSP, Flash, SDRAM, timer and resetting. The program on license plate detection has been tested on the designed board, it run all right with natural light condition, and the location of license plate is accurate. The size and cost of the board are small, but it is fast and highly reliable.

Abstract:Aimed at the requirement of high speed data transferring in data collection system,a new way of DMA data transferring on PCI bus by TI's DSP─TMS320DM642 is emphasized.The PCI interface characteristic of the fixed-point chip DM642 is introduced.And then the structure and flow of the master DMA transfer system is given,which is initiated under DM642 DSP control.Finally,the implementation of the PCI device driver under master DMA mode is given.Compared with the other methods for data transferring on PCI bus,the new way gains a good performance in data transferring on PCI bus with the less cost.

Abstract:In the field of medical application, it is of great importance to adopt digital image processing technique. Based on the characteristics of medical image, we introduced the digital image processing method to the X-ray imaging system, and developed a high resolution x-ray medical sequential image acquisition and processing system that employs image enhancer and CCD. This system consists of three basic modules, namely sequential image acquisition, data transfer and system control, and image processing. Under the control of FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), images acquired by the front-end circuit are transmitted to a PC through high speed PCI bus, and then optimized by the image processing program. The software kits, which include PCI Device Driver and Image Processing Package, are developed with Visual C++ Language based on Windows OS. In this paper, we present a general introduction to the principle and the operating procedure of X-ray Sequential Image Acquisition and Processing System, with special emphasis on the key issues of the hardware design. In addition, the context, principle, status quo and the digitizing trend of X-ray Imaging are explained succinctly. Finally, the preliminary experimental results are shown to demonstrate that the system is capable of achieving high quality X-ray sequential images.

Abstract:An audio signal processing system based on DSP is introduced.The system adopts TI's low power consumption DSP TMS320VC5509A as the main processor,and TLV320AIC23 as the audio codec chip.Therefore,the system's hardware platform and software design are completed based on them,which can be used as a universal platform for other audio signal processing.The paper expounds in detail the method of interface that connects codec chip with DSP.At last,it provides an example of data transmission based on DMA interruption,which upgrades procession speed largely.

Abstract:A system architecture of 6-channel 60 MHz high-speed data acquisition based on PCI bus was studied and implemented.The system could be used to implement data acquisition through 6 channels with acquisition parallel but transfering separately,and store large amount of data.General design strategy, theory of main parts of the card,circuit design,programming and circuit design of CPLD were presented.Some questions during the design of high speed data acquisition system,such as anti-jamming,were presented deeply.

Abstract:This paper presents a multi-channel neural signal acquisition system based on PCI and DSP. The system utilizes CPLD to realize logical and timing control between DSP and multi-channel ADC. The interface between DSP's HPI and PCI bus is employed to achieve high-speed data transmission. This paper also introduces the technique of PCI device driver programming based on WDM using DriverStudio in Windows 2000. Finally, the experimental result of acquiring rat EEG signal using this system is given.

Abstract:Based on an ARM and DSP dual-processor embedded platform, we design a digital video recorder (DVR) which uses PCI bus interface. This paper realizes the development of BSP from scratch, the main achievements are the building of the development environment, the development of Bootloader and OAL, and ultimately compiled the eboot.nb0 and nk.nb0 running on the development board. The design of device driver and application program is introduced. This recorder can encode video streams and transfer them to the host in real time and store to local hard-disk. Thus it is convenient to complete the functions of remote monitoring system.

Abstract:The proposed FPGA-based system uses DMA technology to cache multi-channel parallel data, and to send data to processing system orderly after data re-organization for display and analysis. Embedded technology is used to make system portable for operation environment of electronic equipment. Parallel digital signal acquisition experiment result shows that this system can acquire 62 channel digital signals correctly and synchronously at four gear sampling frequency of 5 MHz, 2.5 MHz, 500 kHz, and 50 Hz.

Abstract:This paper introduces a design and implementation of high frequency signal acquisition and control system based on DSP + FPGA. The system supports internal/external clock and internal/external trigger sampling. It has a maximum sampling rate of 400MBPS and has a 1.4GHz input bandwidth for the ADC. Data can be collected continuously or periodically in systems and they are stored in DDR2. At the same time, the system also supports real-time acquisition, the collected data after digital frequency conversion and Cascaded Integrator-Comb (CIC) filtering, which then be sent to the CPCI bus through the high-speed DSP, can be assigned to the fiber board for subsequent processing. The system integrates signal acquisition and pre-processing functions, which uses high-speed A/D, high-speed DSP and FPGA mixed technology and has a wide range of uses in data acquisition and recording. In the signal processing, the system can be seamlessly connected to the dedicated processor board. The system has the advantages of multi-selectivity, good scalability and so on, which satisfies the different requirements of different signals in different projects.

Abstract:A new architectural synchronous 12-lead ECG acquisition system based on TMS320VC54x series DSP is introduced in this paper. Some new technologies such as chopper-stabilized amplifier, simultaneous sampling A/D converter and universal serial bus (USB) will be well used in this system, which grant a higher veracity, lower noise and more flexible way in data communication. Further more, data pretreatment has also been implemented in DSP.

Abstract:Many signal processing applications like blind source signal separation, audio beam etc, require multi-channel synchronous data acquisition. These applications require signal acquired from multiple channels to be digitized synchronously to preserve the phase relationship. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of a high speed synchronous multi-channel data acquisition and processing system based on ADS8365, FPGA and DSP. The design takes ADS8365, XC3S200 and TMS320C6747 as the core devices to implement 12 channels of analog signal synchronous data acquisition and real-time processing. FPGA controls A/D synchronously sampling 12 channel of signal after they pass through the conditioning circuits, then, writes the data into an internal FIFO. The internal FIFO will trigger the interrupt of DSP after it is half-full. Finally, DSP will read the FIFO data and make real-time processing. The system test results show that the signal-to-noise ratio of the system is 67.13dB which meets the design requirements.

Abstract:To facilitate the testing of radar signal receiving system,a high-speed data acquisition card based on CPCI bus,PCI9054 bridge chip and programmable logic device(FPGA) was designed.Taking FPGA as a local master,and according to the acquisition command transmitted by the PCI9054 from computer,it can communicate with radar receiver through optical interface.SRAM is used to cache high-speed data,the analysis results of test data can be displayed on the industrial computer,and then the quick test of the radar receiver is implemented.The capture card has a strong versatility and scalability,the composition,working principle and hardware design of high-speed data acquisition card are described.
