This paper designs the 16 * 16 dot matrix display system and hardware principle diagram based GE PAC,uses the DRUM and FOR loop instruction in programming. The method is novel and effect is good.

Abstract:A volumetric 3D display system using high speed rotating light-emitting-diode(LED) matrix panel and control circuit comprised of PIC microcontroller and other components was introduced to display 3D images in real space.Information of discrete feature points is obtained through digital processing 3D object prototype derived from 3DS MAX software.With sync signal from a light coupler,the microcontroller controls the flash data storage devices and the special driving chips for LED to display a sequence of 2D images line-by-line.These discrete images can be perceived and interpreted as an integrated 3D image due to persistence of vision.The reconstructed 3D image can reflect the 3D characters of the original object faithfully,and can be observed through 360 degrees horizontally without the need of any special visual aids.

Abstract:The method with which the height of character is adjusted is put forward based on the principle of forming dot-matrix font. The pivotal issues such as driving mode, the array of drivers, determination of distance of valve core and so on of pulse jet on-off valve are studied in detail, which provides theoretical basis for design and manufacture of high-speed dot-matrix big character jet machine. Implementation scheme to minimize the printing errors is raised on analysis of the factors influencing printing precision. It is proved that the theory is correct and the method of design is feasible by experiment.
Effect of Dot Matrix Scanning Mode on Voxel Orientation in Volumetric Display System

Abstract:In volumetric 3D display systems which based on a rotating 2D dot matrix panel, voxels at predefined locations were generated by rapidly rotating and instantaneously scanned dot matrix pixels. The voxels are integrated into a 3D image due to persistence of vision. Analysis on dot matrix scanning mode shows that when the panel is scanned line-by-line or column-by-column, voxels created at different moments will not have the same orientation due to the asynchronism in pixel scanning sequence and the rotation of the panel. Thus, although all the pixels are located on the physical plane of the dot matrix panel, the instantaneous voxels created by them after a complete scanning will not remain in a 2D plane. A volumetric display system which using LEDs of quick response time as dot matrix pixels was set up. In the case of high-speed scanning, the difference of displayed information from the original information in orientation can be ignored. Profiles of complicated 3D models can be reconstructed well and be observed from any position around the system without the need for any special viewing aids.

Abstract:In this research, the author leverages the advanced capabilities and technologies offered by the STC89C52RC controller to construct an electronic display incorporating multiple polar array modules. The primary focus of this display lies in its dynamic presentation of Chinese characters. The driver section design encompasses key components such as shift memory and registers, which play a crucial role in ensuring precise scanning of each line and column of text. To ensure smooth circuit operation, the inclusion of the 8550 transistors allows for effective current control, thereby amplifying current intensity and enhancing scanning efficiency. The software development process adopts a modular approach, facilitating the seamless implementation of the design concept. The software primarily facilitates data transmission to the display, enabling dynamic adjustment of the displayed text through control signals. Furthermore, specific software aids in character extraction, enabling the electronic display to manifest various dynamic effects, including vertical movement, when presenting static text. Rigorous experimentation validates the successful realization of dynamic text display functionality, with no observed ambiguities or performance fluctuations during the display process.

Abstract:Based on the analysis of the architecture of scan IC′s for plasma display panel(PDP),an advanced PDP scan driver IC with high blocking capability(up to 200 V) and high current capability(over 650 mA/-200 mA) is designed.The digital circuitry of the IC is implemented in 0.6 μm standard CMOS process.Test results show that the circuit is capable of driving 16-channel high voltage output circuit simultanously and its maxium frequency reaches 60 MHz.

Abstract:Aiming at the detection and control problems of automatic surface mounting machine with high-speed and high-precision, the status of overseas advanced surface mounting technology and realistic production is first given. The key characteristics and functions of the motion control, visual recognition and PCB data are also analyzed. Based on the visual recognition, motion optimization and control algorithms are developed by the authors,and the whole software system is then designed and integrated. The program realization technique of surface mounting system is particularly presented.

Abstract:This article introduces a convenience and feasible system that can take advantage of program to control the I/O of parallel printer interface to drive the stepping motors and that is applied in the experiment device of detection. In order to drive the stepping motors, this system makes use of the data-output ports of parallel printer interface that have the flip-latch function to transmit required-frequency pulse by controlling parallel printer interface's I/O.

Abstract:In this paper, we design a microencapsulated electronic ink display, which applys the static driving method. It's composed of display controller and matrix display, these two parts are connected by several signals, such as clock and data. Abstract:To resolve the handworked orientation problem in the industrial production of optical engines in three-panel projection display system, a new automatic system was proposed. Using square error function and the barycenter algorithm of light intensity as the merit function of focusing and alignment respectively, the system analyzed the images captured by charge coupled device (CCD) in the projection screen to produce feedback signals. By adjusting the position of spatial light modulator (SLM), the three colors' auto-focusing and auto-alignment was realized. The experimental results indicate that three colors' high precise, efficient auto-focusing and auto-alignment can be achieved in the above system under the control of motors reaching high accuracy in several minutes.

Abstract:Electrophoretic displays (EPDs) have become the main solution to electronic paper because of its invariably reflective and bistable properties. With different requirements of display resolution, speed, and contrast ratio, the electronic paper (E-paper) designers may adopt different types of electrophoretic material and active matrix backplane for building the system. The driving waveforms should be also customized for accommodating different application specifications and environment temperature. In this paper, we present a configurable EPD controller which can support various application specifications. In addition to providing a new architecture of compacted waveform lookup tables, the controller supports partial image update and integrates a real-time halftoning engine for improving image quality. The design has been implemented on a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) and tested with several real EPDs.

Abstract:In the traditional jacquard CAD system,image can be processed only on one layer.In order to enhance the system ability of processing images and increase the efficiency of designing,this paper applies layer technique in jacquard CAD system,and vector map editing and mathematical morphology method fit for the jacquard CAD field are used at the same time.A jacquard CAD image processing system based on the layer technique is finally designed.The system is programmed in Delphi 7.System architecture,implementation principle of each module and core algorithm are introduced.Through the above methods,good effect is gained at last,which demonstrates that this technique has broad prospects for application.

Abstract:A micro-lithography system based on digital micro-mirror device is utilized in liquid crystal(LC) alignments.The projected images on SD1 guide the SDI molecular orientations of the command layer,and further determine the directors of LC.Both complex pattern fabrication and arbitrary polarization control could be accomplished on this system with resolution up to 5 μm.Pattern transforming among different bar codes and subarea controlling of random gray scale have been demonstrated by means of the optical rewritability of SD1.These LC devices are switchable and tunable under applied fields.The dynamic LC photo-patterning technique may be widely used in information display and identification,tunable photonic devices,etc.
