Abstract:Let {X-n, n >= 1} be a sequence of asymptotically almost negatively associated random variables and S-n = Sigma(n)(i=1) X-i. In the paper, we get the precise results of Hajek-Renyi type inequalities for the partial sums of asymptotically almost negatively associated sequence, which generalize and improve the results of Theorem 2.4 Theorem 2.6 in Ko et al. ([4]). In addition, the large deviation of S-n for sequence of asymptotically almost negatively associated random variables is studied. At last, the Marcinkiewicz type strong law of large numbers is given.

Some sufficient conditions for the strong law of large numbers of random variables are presented. Abstract:In this paper we obtain weak laws of large numbers (WLLNs) for arrays of random variables under the uniform Cesàro-type condition. As corollary, we obtain the result of Hong and Oh [Hong, D. H., Oh, K. S., 1995. On the weak law of large numbers for arrays. Statist. Probab. Lett. 22, 55–57]. Furthermore, we obtain a WLLN for an Lp-mixingale array without the conditions that the mixingale is uniformly integrable and the Lp-mixingale numbers decay to zero at a special rate.

Abstract:Let X-1 , . . . , X-n be a random sample from a p-dimensional population distribution. Assume that c(1)n(alpha) <= p <= c(2)n(alpha) for some positive constants c(1), c(2) and alpha. In this paper we introduce a new statistic for testing independence of the p-variates of the population and prove that the limiting distribution is the extreme distribution of type I with a rate of convergence O ((log n)(5/2)/root n). This is much faster than O (1/log n), a typical convergence rate for this type of extreme distribution. A simulation study and application to stochastic optimization are discussed.

Abstract:In this article, we mainly investigate the Kolmogorov-Feller type weak law of large numbers for weighted sums of m-asymptotic negatively associated (m-ANA, for short) random variables. Some sufficient conditions to prove the Kolmogorov-Feller type weak law of large numbers are provided. The results obtained in this article extend the corresponding ones of Naderi, Boukhari, and Matula (2022) for negatively superadditive dependent (NSD, for short) random variables.

Abstract:With the help of truncation method for asymptotically almost negatively associated(AANA)random variables,the three series theorem for the sequence of AANA random variables has been investigated.Under the moment condition,some strong limit theorems and strong law of large numbers for partial sums of AANA sequence were obtained.Since the sequence of AANA random variables is weaker than the sequence of NA random variable,the results obtained in this paper also hold true for the sequence of NA random variables.

Abstract:The inverse moment's research can be used in many fields such as risk evaluation and insurance mathematics. In this paper, we consider the weighted inverse moment model based on asymptotically almost negatively associated (AANA, in short) sequences. Under some weak condition, we obtain the asymptotic approximation of inverse moments and its convergence rate. As applications of inverse moments, we study the random ratio models which contain the change-point detection models, and obtain the asymptotic moment approximation of random ratio and its convergence rate. Our conditions of inverse moment and random ratio models are very weaker than the existing models. In order to test our results, we do some simulations and real data analysis in this paper. Our results improve and general the existing works.

Abstract:The Khintchine-Kolmogorov-type convergence theorem and three-series theorem for AANA random variables are established. By using these convergence theorems, we obtain convergence results for AANA sequences, which extend the corresponding ones for independent sequences and NA sequences. In addition, we study the strong stability for weighted sums of AANA random variables and obtain some new results, which extend some earlier ones for NA random variables.

Abstract:In this article, we mainly investigate the complete convergence and complete moment convergence for arrays of rowwise asymptotically almost negatively associated (AANA, in short) random variables. First, some exponential inequalities are presented. By using these inequalities, we establish the complete convergence and complete moment convergence for arrays of rowwise AANA random variables under much weaker conditions. As applications, we provide some corollaries on complete moment convergence for AANA random variables and present an example that satisfies the conditions of the main result. The results obtained in the article generalize and improve some known ones for negatively associated random variables.
