Abstract:3-Alkyl-5-(diethylaminomethyl)pyrazoles reacted with chloroacetyl chloride to give 1-chloroacetyl derivatives which were subjected to heterocyclization with thiobenzamide, thiourea, and N -phenylthiourea in the presence of triethylamine in ethanol. As a result, previously unknown 3-alkyl-5-(diethylaminomethyl)-1-(1,3-thiazol-4-yl)-1 H -pyrazoles were synthesized.

Abstract:3-alkyl-5-diethylamino(morpholino)methyl-1 H- pyrazolyl-1-acetic acid methyl esters were synthesized via 3-alkyl-5-diethylamino(morpholino)methyl-1 H- pyrazolyl-1-acetic acid and monochloroacetic acid methyl esters. The compounds synthesized were employed in the reactions with ammonia, hydrazine hydrate and KOH to produce new functional derivatives of 3-alkyl-5-diethylamino(morpholino)methyl - 1 H -pyrazoles. We identified that the functional derivatives of pyrazoles synthesized are biologically active substances.

Abstract:The reaction of 1-benzyl- and 1-(2-phenylethyl)- 3-methyl-5-pyrazolone with POCl3 and DMF affords N,N- dimethylaminothylidene derivatives that in acid or basic medium can be transformed into the corresponding aldehydes at the carbon 4 of the heterocycle. The dimethylenamine can also be more easily obtained by reacting pyrazolones with the dimethyl acetal of N,N-dimethylformamide. Starting from the aldehydes or the N,N-dimethylenamines is possible to obtain new enamines. The advantages of using dimethylenamines are the absence of the enol as an undesired byproduct and that there is no need to prepare the aldehyde to obtain Schiff bases. Overall, the yields can be classified as acceptable. The aldehydes can be described as 5-hydroxypyrazole-4-carbaldehydes in chloroform solutions, but in solid phase they are dicarbonyl compounds. The Schiff bases exhibit an enamine structure in chloroform solution and in solid phase.

Abstract:An efficient and general method for the synthesis of 3-trifluoromethyl-4 trifluoroacetyl pyrazoles from the cycloaddition of sydnones with 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoropentane-2,4-dione has been established. Using ZnI2/bpy as a catalyst in THF, this protocol proved to be general to prepare a variety of 3-trifluoromethyl-4 trifluoroacetyll pyrazoles in good yields. Utility of this method was demonstrated by further transformations of the trifluoroacetyl moiety providing convenient access to 3 trifluoromethyl pyrazole-based carboxylic acid and alcohol derivatives. Abstract:A simple and efficient strategy for the chemoselective synthesis of (2 Z ,5 Z )-3-benzyl/alkyl-5-(2-oxo-5-arylfuran-3(2 H )-ylidene)-2-(phenylimino)thiazolidin-4-one derivatives is developed via a sequential three-component reaction of readily available phenacyl bromides, pyridine and methyl 2-(3-benzyl/alkyl-4-oxo-2-(phenylimino)thiazolidin-5-ylidene)acetates in acetonitrile at room temperature. The advantages of this one-pot sequential Michael addition/1,2-H shift/elimination of pyridine/intramolecular cyclization are highlighted by its low energy requirements (short reaction times at room temperature), excellent yields, the absence of a metal catalyst, and mild conditions. The product structures are characterized by spectroscopic techniques and single-crystal X-ray analysis. Abstract:An effective [3+2] cycloaddition reaction of difluoromethyl or trifluoromethyl hydrazonoyl bromides with alkylidene pyrazolones was disclosed. The method provides an efficient approach to access a variety of highly functionalized fluoroalkyl spiropyrazolones in good yields. This protocol also features some advantages such as easy available and stable substrates, simple operation procedure, atom and step economy. The formation of (cis)- and (trans)-products was discussed.
