Abstract:Dually flat Finsler metrics arise from α-flat information structures on Riemann-Finsler manifolds. Such Finsler metrics was introduced by Amari-Nagaoka and Z. Shen (See [3, 72]). Recently the study of dually flat Finsler metrics has attracted a lot of attention [14, 29, 30, 39, 81].

Abstract:Locally dually flat Finsler metrics arise from information geometry. Such metrics have special geometric properties. In this paper, we characterize locally dually flat and projectively flat Finsler metrics and study a special class of Finsler metrics called Randers metrics which are expressed as the sum of a Riemannian metric and a one-form. We find some equations that characterize locally dually flat Randers metrics and classify those with isotropic S-curvature.

Abstract:Dually flat Finsler metrics arise from alpha-flat information structures on Riemann-Finsler manifolds. Inspired by the theory of Funk functions and Hamel functions due to Li-Shen, we give a new approach to produce dually flat Finsler metrics in this paper. Moreover, we manufacture new dually flat spherically symmetric Finsler metrics by using the standard Euclidean norm on R-n.

Abstract:The notion of dually flat Finsler metrics arise from information geometry. In this paper, we will study a special class of Finsler metrics called Randers metrics to be dually flat. A simple characterization is provided and some non-trivial explicit examples are constructed. In particular, We will show that the dual flatness of a Randers metric always arises from that of some Riemannian metric by doing some special deformations.

Abstract:A generalized Einstein-Hilbert functional in Finsler geometry is defined and its Euler-Lagrange equation is derived, which depends on not only the Ricci scalar but also the mean Landsberg curvature. Such critical metrics include usual Riemann-Einstein metrics. Some non-Riemannian examples of critical metrics are given. Moreover, some rigidity theorems for a Finsler metric to be Riemannian are obtained.

Abstract:Square metrics arise from several classification problems in Finsler geometry. They are the rare Finsler metrics to be of excellent geometry properties. Abstract:Based on the previous researches, in this paper the dual flatness of a special class of Finsler metrics called general (alpha, beta)-metrics, which is defined by a Riemannian metric alpha and a 1-form beta, is studied. A characterization for such metrics to be locally dually flat under some suitable conditions is provided. Many non-trivial explicit examples are constructed by a new kind of deformation technique. A nice characterization for such metrics to be dually flat under some suitable conditions is provided and all the solutions are completely determined.
