Abstract:This paper explains He Lin's excavation of Wang Anshi's Thoughts on Mind from the perspectives of theory of mind and theory of human nature . On the aspect of theory of mind , He sees Hegel's philosophy as the starting point and pays attention to elucidating Wang Anshi's thoughts of "establishing oneself".On the aspect of theory of human nature ,he considers that Wang Anshi held the idea of "human nature is both good and evil"at first ,then changed his idea into that "human nature is good".He thinks that the idea of "human nature is both good and evil"can highlight the importance of human effort ,w hile returning to the idea of "human nature is good" is to uplift the dynamic power of spirit as well as the function of mind in combining ideal of value with profound cultural accumulation and in driving cultural accumulation by value .The above interpretation is the distinct manifestation of his New Idealism .
