Abstract:The corrosion behavior of a newly developed Ni-Fe based superalloy which used in 700 ℃ ultra-supercritical boilers was studied under simulated coal-ash/flue-gas environment after two kinds of heat treatment. The microstructures, morphology, compositions and phases of the corrosion products were analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM),energy dispersive spec-trometer (EDS)and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The results show that a continuity and integrity oxide film and basic consistent corro-sion product are formed on the two samples surface after corrosion at 750 ℃ for 500 h,while the significant differences are obviously observed on the cross section corrosion morphology. The oxide of Fe and Cr is the main corrosion products for the 2 samples, while a small amount of Al2O3,TiO2and sulfide rich in Ti,Mo is discovered. The microstructural changes caused by different heat treat-ment processes have influenced the corrosion rates of alloy. The oxide film of sample 1# is thicker and the mass gain is larger in the 400 h of corrosion. After 400 h,the mass gain curves of sample 2# tends to be the same with sample 1# with the increase of the in-ner corrosion intensifies along the grain boundary.
