Preparation of multilayer coated glass with low-E and thermal insulation properties

Abstract:SnO2∶F/silica aerogel multilayer coated glass was prepared via sol-gel process.SEM,thermal con-ductivity meter,FT-IR and UV-Vis optical spectrometer were used to characterize the mophology,thermal con-ductivity,low-E performance and transmittance of the coated glass.The results showed that the transmittance of the coated glass was up to 75%,the emittance was 0.53.Compared to FTO glass,the thermal conductivity of multilayer coated glass decreased from 3.615 to 3.368 W/(m??K),indicating that the multilayer coated glass possessed both low thermal conductivity and low emittance properties.
