State of the art on measurement and control of welding deformation for light metal welded structures

Abstract:With the development of welded structure in weight-lightening and energy-saving,light metal were widely used in the welded struc-tures. The welding deformation in manufacturing of light metal structure has become one of the main problems. Therefore, measuring the weld-ing deformation accurately and controlling the welding deformation has become extremely important. In this paper,combined with the research results of our research group, an overview of measurement and control technologies on welding deformation was discussed, especially the 'applica-tions in engineering. Finally,the future research and developing was outlined.
