Abstract:Recently, extensive researches on estimating the value of e have been studied. In this paper, the structural characteristics of I. Schur type inequalities are exploited to generalize the corresponding inequalities by variable parameter techniques. Some novel upper and lower bounds for the I. Schur inequality have also been obtained and the upper bounds may be obtained with the help of Maple and automated proving package ( Bottema ). Numerical examples are employed to demonstrate the reliability of the approximation of these new upper and lower bounds, which improve some known results in the recent literature.

Abstract:. In this paper, we mainly study the so-called isotonic Dirac system over the unbounded domains in Euclidean space of even dimension. In such systems different Dirac operators appear from the left and from the right on the functions considered. We attain the integral representation of isotonic functions satisfying the specific growth condition over the unbounded domains, and show that the classical Martinelli-Bochner integral representation over the unbounded domains for the holomorphic functions of several complex variables and for Hermitean monogenic functions both satisfying the specific growth condition may be derived from it.

Abstract:Using the integral representations of the solutions of Schrödinger equation, which are the essential ingredients of the Gel'fand-Levitan and Marchenko integral equations of inverse scattering theory, we obtain a general theorem on the positivity of some integral transforms, and extend the theorem of Bochner on Fourier transforms of functions of positive type to more general transforms. The present study is restricted to the positive half-axis. We then obtain a theorem on the positivity of Fourier cosine transform of the phase-shifts.

On Fefferman--Stein type inequality on Shilov boundaries and applications

Abstract:In this paper, we establish the Fefferman--Stein type inequality for area integral and non-tangential maximal function on the Shilov boundary studied by Nagel and Stein in 2004. The technique here is inspired by Fefferman--Stein (1972) and Merryfield (1985) but we bypass the use of Fourier or group structure as these were not available on the polynomial domains of finite type. Direct applications include the maximal function characterisation of product Hardy space and the weak type endpoint estimate for product Calderón--Zygmund operators (such as the Cauchy--Szegő projection) on the Shilov boundary.

Abstract:This paper presents some new inequalities, the most important of which is the inequality given in Theorem 2.1. It can solve a class of inequalities by a unified method. An important application of the inequality given in Theorem 2.1 is to derive another new general form of inequality. The famous Nesbitt's inequality is a special case of this general form of inequality when n = 3. The new inequality in Theorem 2.1 proposed in this paper is easy to use and expand, and many new inequalities can be derived and obtained by direct calculation, so it has a wide range of applications. Many known inequalities can also be directly calculated by the inequalities proposed in this paper, and the calculation is simple and convenient.

Abstract:A new general expression for the current in Schottky diodes due to drift-diffusion but neglecting tunneling is presented. A precise expression for the ideality factor is derived. The temperature dependence of important quantities in both the degenerate (heavy doping) and nondegenerate (Boltzmann) limit is examined. In the degenerate regime, the temperature independence of the saturation current is shown to complicate the extraction of the barrier height from the current-voltage characteristics.<>

Generalized Converses of Operator Jensens Inequalities with Applications to Hypercomplex Function Approximations and Bounds Algebra

Abstract:Mond and Pecaric proposed a powerful method, namd as MP method, to deal with operator inequalities. However, this method requires a real-valued function to be convex or concave, and the normalized positive linear map between Hilbert spaces. The objective of this study is to extend the MP method by allowing non-convex or non-concave real-valued functions and nonlinear mapping between Hilbert spaces. The Stone-Weierstrass theorem and Kantorovich function are fundamental components employed in generalizing the MP method inequality in this context. Several examples are presented to demonstrate the inequalities obtained from the conventional MP method by requiring convex function with a normalized positive linear map. Various new inequalities regarding hypercomplex functions, i.e., operator-valued functions with operators as arguments, are derived based on the proposed MP method. These inequalities are applied to approximate hypercomplex functions using ratio criteria and difference criteria. Another application of these new inequalities is to establish bounds for hypercomplex functions algebra, i.e., an abelian monoid for the addition or multiplication of hypercomplex functions, and to derive tail bounds for random tensors ensembles addition or multiplication systematically.
