Abstract:To meet the needs of establishing a dynamic adjustable serial communication network,an intelligent serial communication terminal is designed using the method of automatic identification of communication baud rate and frame format in blind environment.After communication settings of host computer,the terminal can automatically identify and follow the communication setting of host computer and establish communication with host computer.Industrial application has proved that the intelligent serial communication terminal designed by this method enhances greatly the flexibility of serial communication with its stable and reliable operation and interference rejection.

Abstract:This paper addresses high speed communication solution between 16 bit microcontrollerbased data acquisition system and PC/AT compatible computer. After 16 bit Industry Standard Architecture (ISA) peripheral interface of PC is analysed, a 16 bit parallel communication card is developed with three kinds of optional modes: poll, interrupt and DMA. On the side of microcontroller system a 16 bit parallel port is constructed to accommodate the ISA card inserted in the PC. The communication software is written in both assembly languages. The whole communication system employs hardware strobe and acknowledgement and a single stage buffer (MI/OM) with the merits of low complexity and reliable performance. The scheme presented here greatly satisfies the requirement of high speed data communication between microcontroller and PC and has been applied to actual mass storage data acquisition and analysis system.

Abstract:This paper presents a serial communication system in order to satisfy the data exchange between SPCE061A and PC.It uses the approach of asynchronous serial communication.The conversion of RS 232C and TTL is demonstrated for the difference of level between SPCE061A and PC,as well as the design of program of serial communication is given in the paper.The data format and the baud rate configuration is presented in the communication protocol part,the section of key question in the programming design gives the interruption control unit configuration.Finally,the flow chart of the sending interruption programs by using UART in SPCE061A and the subordinate program of the data sending and receiving are given.The assemble language is used in the single chip computer,while the VB6.0 is adopted in PC.The hardware and software of the system have been successfully debugged and run.

Abstract:COM is the one of the most important peripheral interfaces in computer; therefore it is significant to do the study of programming design methods in serial communication. In this paper we discuss the four programming design methods of serial communication on C~(++) Builder 6 platform: direct embedded assembler, Windows API functions, MSComm component based on the technique of ActiveX and Third-Party component SPComm. We also give the compared results of the four programming design methods in serial communication, and provide programming examples.

Abstract:A circuit that can realize asynchronous, both-way serial communication between microcomputers and 8031 single-chip computers using RS232 interfaces is detailed and its hardware circuit and the realization of its software are analyzed. In this circuit, the microcomputer is a master computer and the 8031 single-chip computer is a slave computer. A two-way call between a master computer and slave computers is realized through two call lines(DSR and DTR). A both-way serial communication between a master computer and slave computers is realized through a pair of communication lines(RXD and TXD). A MC 3487 is used as the remote driver and a MC 3486 as the remote receiver in order to realize remote communication and signal isolation. Data communication is realized by using the inquiry method in a microcomputer, and the interruption method in a 8031 single-chip computer. PowerBuilder language is used to realize the communication in the software design. PowerBuilder is efficient, fast and convenient as a software-developing tool. There are two methods to realize serial communication using PowerBuilder: (1) with the API communication function of Windows; (2) with the MSComm control. Programming by using API function of Windows is complicated, but the function is powerful. On the contrary, programming by using Mscomm control is simple, but the low level program can not be transferred. A method to realize communication by using Pcomm Pro function in PowerBuilderis presented, the format of the function defined and the process to call a function described. It is shown that this method is simple, efficient and applicable.

Abstract:This article introduces the principle of remote serial communication by RS-485 series interface and the corresponding hardware configuration which can fulfill the communication function of the system. This system achieves the communication modularization of the CNC machine tools. At the same time, in order to ensure the reliability in the transmission, contraposing the problems possibly appeared in communication procedure, some rational resolvents are given in order to keep the data transmitted exactly. The system adopts the advanced language VC and assembled language to implement the communication programming design between PC and single-chip microcontroller.

Abstract:By analyzing the current serial communication design used in a popular monitor system composed of PC, GOT and PLC, introduced a new design and implementation plan of serial communication based on Vb and MX software pagekage. This system could solve the problem of managing complex communication protocol in current application, and achieved the efficient, stable and reliable communication under simple attachment. The system could not only have not to consider complex communication protocol but also need not to set up the D8120 PLC, and MX Component with other application such as GX Developer could use com port at the same time, so debug conveniently and programming high efficiency. In the actual application, No matter the accuracy and stability of communication were to achieve achieve industrial control system requirements.

Abstract:The serial ports must be expanded when the flight controlling computer communicates with exterior devices by multi-serial communi-cation,with the characteristic of too many pins and big figure,usual Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter(UART) chip makes the circuit large and high-consumed.Aiming at these problems,this paper chooses a Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) chip,programming with verilog HDL,designs and integrates ten UART cells,data-receive controller,data-send controller and dual-port Random Access Memory(RAM),achieves ten channels of serial communication of the flight controlling computer,and manages to make the circuit much simpler.It is confirmed that the design scheme is correct by simulating and test the design result with ISE9.1i.

Abstract:This paper introduces the application of serial communication and MAX232 chip.Using MAX232 chip makes serial interface circuit,and utilizing the circuit reads the CPU data of the computer.Before this,the transceiver sides must be in accordance with the agreement good communication protocol for communication.Using a serial debugging assistant makes data visually displayed in the setting PC.In order to ensure the correctness of the data,make serial port data dis-played in waveform through the oscilloscope.Comparing the two types of data,whether receiving correctly or not can verify the correctness of the serial interface circuit.Ensure the correct implementation of point-to-point serial communication be-tween CPU and the computer.
