Abstract:This article introduces a convenience and feasible system that can take advantage of program to control the I/O of parallel printer interface to drive the stepping motors and that is applied in the experiment device of detection. In order to drive the stepping motors, this system makes use of the data-output ports of parallel printer interface that have the flip-latch function to transmit required-frequency pulse by controlling parallel printer interface's I/O.

Abstract:A virtual parallel portscheme is proposed, which aims to solve the problem of getting print data for the application of wireless technologies to substitute forprintcableinprinters. The schemeadapts forvarious printers, which doesn't modifyprinter driver programs and hasn't any negative influence on system architecture. The implementation of virtual parallel port is introduced. Finally, the charac- teristics of virtual parallel port is summarized.

Abstract:To meet the needs of establishing a dynamic adjustable serial communication network,an intelligent serial communication terminal is designed using the method of automatic identification of communication baud rate and frame format in blind environment.After communication settings of host computer,the terminal can automatically identify and follow the communication setting of host computer and establish communication with host computer.Industrial application has proved that the intelligent serial communication terminal designed by this method enhances greatly the flexibility of serial communication with its stable and reliable operation and interference rejection.

Abstract:For the problem data transmission of CAN bus between baud rate and transmission distance,a solution was introduced,which mainly uses the parallel repeaters with the technique of data shunting,and the demonstrability of the solution was made from theory and experiment.The result indicates that the solution has reasonable software and hardware,strong ability,can meet the need of real-time,and can be realized easily.The solution also can be used in other real-time CAN system.

Abstract:In order to print characters on hot bloom automatically,an automatic control system based on PLC S7-300 and smart positioning controller SPC200 was designed.Through digital I/O,PLC sent directions to SPC200,and the sprayer laterally moved to designated position by the intelligent cylinder.Then multilevel cylinder pushed the sprayer ahead in lengthwise direction,which was adjusted by electromagnetic valves.At last stroke electromagnetic valves were open or closed on appointed character.The application results show that this control system is featured by its cost effective,ease of operation,low inaccurate rate and printing fast.

Abstract:EPP model parallel port and CAN bus are generally introduced. The definition and use of virtual device driver VxD are specified. Also, the application of VxD driver in the interface realization of EPP model parallel port and CAN bus is focused on. Combining with the VxD application, an EPP-CAN based experimental communication system is introduced. Using VxD driver, this system successfully realizes the interface of CAN bus and EPP model parallel port. It can well accomplish the information transmission between them and response interruptions in time, thus realizes the real-time net communications of CAN bus.

Abstract:COM is the one of the most important peripheral interfaces in computer; therefore it is significant to do the study of programming design methods in serial communication. In this paper we discuss the four programming design methods of serial communication on C~(++) Builder 6 platform: direct embedded assembler, Windows API functions, MSComm component based on the technique of ActiveX and Third-Party component SPComm. We also give the compared results of the four programming design methods in serial communication, and provide programming examples.

Abstract:The design of enhanced parallel port(EPP) driver and data exchange program used for portable PC on oil tank floor inspection device were introduced.The EPP driver module was developed with WinDriver tool in kernel mode in response to parallel port interrupts,read and buffer port data.The data exchange module communicates with main program developed with LabVIEW through Windows Socket mechanism.The limitation of LabVIEW of not supporting EPP in interrupt working mode was got over to ensure the inspection of data transmitting.

Abstract:Personal computer only has 1 or 2 serial ports,which causes inconvenience when multiple serial devices are required to communicate with the computer at the same time.Aiming at this problem,a new method of serial port expansion based on SPI had been proposed.The multi-serial-port system which used the new method only took a serial or USB port available,and can connect three or more serial devices.The main body of this system consisted of multiple single chip processors STC12C5410AD which had both UART and SPI.Those processors in this system communicated insingle master-more slaves mode,and the master exchanged the information and data with the slave by SPI.Every slave chip can connect to a serial device,and the master chip connected with the host computer's serial port.Thus,the data can be transferred from computer to serial devices or reverse through this multi-serial-port system.The master and the slave have some data buffers,and the data throughput of master is larger than that of all of the slaves.In addition,and the protocol of data exchange,memory organization,and the software structure are also described in this article.

Abstract:This article introduces the principle of remote serial communication by RS-485 series interface and the corresponding hardware configuration which can fulfill the communication function of the system. This system achieves the communication modularization of the CNC machine tools. At the same time, in order to ensure the reliability in the transmission, contraposing the problems possibly appeared in communication procedure, some rational resolvents are given in order to keep the data transmitted exactly. The system adopts the advanced language VC and assembled language to implement the communication programming design between PC and single-chip microcontroller.

Abstract:The hardware design of TL16C554 about how to achieve the multi-serial-port expansion in intelligent instrument within S3C2410A core is introduced.Then,the flow of serial driver in Windows CE is analyzed.At last,the method how to add new serial-port COM4 based on previous serial-port COM1~COM3 driver in Windows CE for example is provided.Tests show that the new serial-port can correctly send data and receive data between intelligent instrument and PC,or other serial device.
