Frequency Tracking Technology of Ultrasonic Motor Based on Phase-Locked Loop

Abstract:Phase difference between voltage and current is called impedance phase characteristic which reflects stator's resonance characteristic of ultrasonic motor(USM).Closed loop control of USM is realized in using phase-locked loop through gathering phase difference signal between voltage and current.Using this method there's no need to set isolated pole.By experiments it is proved that the infection of temperature change to USM can be compensated by tracking phase difference,which makes motor run on initial setting point.When setting value is changed,the circuit can follow up phase diversification,making motor run steadily.
