Fatigue Life Analysis of Supporter of Double Horse Beam Pumping Unit

Abstract:Because the operation medium and work condition changed, the load becomes higher, the life time of supporter of double horse beam pumping unit becomes short. Real three dimensional model was built in design software. Based on in field measured diagram of work, the maximum and minimum load and corresponding positions were determined. In finite element software, the stress and deformation were calculated out for maximum and minimum load work positions. Using the calculated stress, the fatigue life is calculated based on empirical fatigue life time equation. The calculation shows that the fatigue life of the supporter structure is not short. The damage of supporter structure is not due to fatigue caused by the increase ofstress, but due to the welding quality of the structure.
