Abstract:Theoretical calculations for L1 0 -MnGa compound indicate a high anisotropy constant, K u (26 Mergs/cm 3 ) and a saturation magnetization, M s (116 emu/g), which predict a maximum energy product, (BH) max , of 28 MGOe.
