Abstract:A new method is presented to solve the open architecture problem and to improve the reliability of CNC system by using software reuse and component technology in this paper. At first,the feasibility of developing CNC system with software component is discussed, and the conception of CNC software components and the integrated and normative description of the component are also offered. Under this condition, this paper introduces a method for the analysis of reuse and the common principles that should be followed in the process for developing CNC systems with software component technology. Then the steps for developing software CNC system is described from the points of view of a developer and a consumer respectively. In the end,an example demonstrating the specific implement of this kind of thought is shown. This method is proved to be effective by developing a prototype example.

Abstract:Object-oriented technology is used to study the CAD/CAM system of super CNC glass carve center in this paper. Based on a successful development of the CAD/CAM system on the OS of WINDOWS, Modular organization in the CAD/CAM system and the detail process of figure forming are presented. It has been proved that the developed CAD system of glass carve robot that is accurate and effectively , and is very successful by a great deal of practice.

Abstract:The title panel information in engineering drawings is the important data source for product data integrated management. Following the analysis of the title panel, the paper presents methods using the unit to describe the information table, using the base table to express the format of the tables in same style, and establishing the mapping approach from base table to database. All of the information in title panel is obtained by unit recognition and format recognition, and written in database with the constraint of base table mapping. A software package based on the theory mentioned above is developed and used in practice.

Abstract:COM is the one of the most important peripheral interfaces in computer; therefore it is significant to do the study of programming design methods in serial communication. In this paper we discuss the four programming design methods of serial communication on C~(++) Builder 6 platform: direct embedded assembler, Windows API functions, MSComm component based on the technique of ActiveX and Third-Party component SPComm. We also give the compared results of the four programming design methods in serial communication, and provide programming examples.

Abstract:Current WebGIS platform developing techniques,such as CGI,Server API,Plug-ins,ActiveX, Java and so on,have their respective limitations. A new WebGIS system framework based on COM+ technology is presented. Technical foundation and system structure are discussed. Three key problems are put forward and resolved. Abstract:Title blocks are crucial primary data on drawings necessary for the operation of modern manufacturing enterprises. However, their uniform export poses a challenge due to the heterogeneity across multiple sources and the variety of export templates. Therefore, this paper proposes an intelligent extraction method for title block information (TBI) based on fuzzy matching. This method evaluates the geometrical composition of the title block, the logical relationship between information cells, and the diversification of the title block. It establishes a weighted intersection point matrix for the title block as the topological structure model. The fuzzy matching, based on the intersection matrix points, disregards the variations in the size and position of the title block and focuses only on the style that impacts the extraction of information. The matched title blocks are categorized, and the base table of each type determines the information distribution of the title block. A hash table is then created between the description cell and the value cell of information to accumulate the TBI. The method is integrated into the AutoCAD software and presented with an interactive program interface. Finally, an example is presented to further demonstrate the stability, reliability, and efficiency of the method and the system.

AutoTitle: An Interactive Title Generator for Visualizations

Abstract:We propose AutoTitle, an interactive visualization title generator satisfying multifarious user requirements. Factors making a good title, namely, the feature importance, coverage, preciseness, general information richness, conciseness, and non-technicality, are summarized based on the feedback from user interviews. Visualization authors need to trade off among these factors to fit specific scenarios, resulting in a wide design space of visualization titles. AutoTitle generates various titles through the process of visualization facts traversing, deep learning-based fact-to-title generation, and quantitative evaluation of the six factors. AutoTitle also provides users with an interactive interface to explore the desired titles by filtering the metrics. We conduct a user study to validate the quality of generated titles as well as the rationality and helpfulness of these metrics.
