Abstract:CAD/CAM system was developed to solve the bad quality and low efficiency in CNC irregular glass grind.This system can provide profile drawing,grind & polishing G code output with the special technology request in glass machining.The optimization of CNC path was acquired with genetic algorithm.The problem of join scar in glass grind was solved with arc feeding and arc retracting.With pre-compensation in polishing,a good polishing effect was acquired.The practice proves that CAD/CAM system can fully satisfy the requirement of glass grind and can improve the machining quality in the followed application.

Abstract:Based on industry PC and domestic GT400-SV multiaxis motion control card,a new open architecture numerical control shoe last machine tool was developed.The components of system hardware were proposed,and the structure of NC system application software was discussed.The software was designed and developed in the WINDOWS environment.Practicability and characteristics of open architecture were proved when shoe last machining on the control of the NC systems.

Abstract:A new method is presented to solve the open architecture problem and to improve the reliability of CNC system by using software reuse and component technology in this paper. At first,the feasibility of developing CNC system with software component is discussed, and the conception of CNC software components and the integrated and normative description of the component are also offered. Under this condition, this paper introduces a method for the analysis of reuse and the common principles that should be followed in the process for developing CNC systems with software component technology. Then the steps for developing software CNC system is described from the points of view of a developer and a consumer respectively. In the end,an example demonstrating the specific implement of this kind of thought is shown. This method is proved to be effective by developing a prototype example.

Abstract:Object-oriented technology is used to study the CAD/CAM system of super CNC glass carve center in this paper. Based on a successful development of the CAD/CAM system on the OS of WINDOWS, Modular organization in the CAD/CAM system and the detail process of figure forming are presented. It has been proved that the developed CAD system of glass carve robot that is accurate and effectively , and is very successful by a great deal of practice.

Abstract:Aiming at the detection and control problems of automatic surface mounting machine with high-speed and high-precision, the status of overseas advanced surface mounting technology and realistic production is first given. The key characteristics and functions of the motion control, visual recognition and PCB data are also analyzed. Based on the visual recognition, motion optimization and control algorithms are developed by the authors,and the whole software system is then designed and integrated. The program realization technique of surface mounting system is particularly presented.

Abstract:An off-line programming method and relevant parameter resolution process were proposed to economically enhance the efficiency of industrial robot which used for light cutting of aerospace aluminum alloy during digital airplane assembly. Based on automatic programming tool(APT) cutter location source files and interface programs,the cutter location data from CAD/CAM system were integrated into the robot programming system. According to robot control requirements,cutter location information was transformed into the move path of end effecter and the robot program by post processing. Finally a kinetic emulation module was used to validate the robot program. The results of example showed that this method is effective for control program generation of complex workpiece light cutting process using industrial robot,and the programming efficiency is significantly improved compared with the teaching programming method.

Abstract:In this paper, a parameterized automatic programming solution whose advantage depends on the automatic feature recognition of digital image is proposed and applied to the development of automatic programming software for composite grinding. This solution can overcome the difficulty of recognizing intersecting feature of complicated rotational part. And a 7-layer CNN classifier is utilized to decide whether the part has the internal features or not, which makes the proposed feature recognition method more intelligent than retrieving the unknown objects blindly. The emphasis of the research is the geometric data extraction algorithm which is the synthesis of border following algorithm, corner detection algorithm and a variety of morphological processing. Under the condition of 12000 × 12000 pixel dimension and 200-dpi resolution of input image, the relative errors between the extracted and actual values of various geometric data are all less than 0.05% for the rotational parts of maximum diameter 500 mm and maximum length of 1500 mm. And all the extracted values of geometric data rounded to integers can fully meet the requirements of NC programming. The automatic programming software based on the proposed solution has excellent portability and practicability, which is independent of any CAD tools or data exchange standards. After the programs generated by the automatic programming software are validated in simulation software NCSIMUL, the software is integrated into HNC-848 CNC system and applied in the prototype of H377 composite grinding center.

Abstract:Industrial robots are gradually being employed in machining processes, particularly the cutting process, owing to their flexibility, mobility, and economic efficiency. However, it is difficult to make the manufacturing process intelligent owing to the complexity of robot machining process information handling and programming. In this paper, the architecture of a STEP-NC compliant closed-loop robot machining system was designed, including its function model and information stream. A methodology based on STEP-NC was established to enable the analysis of high-level information directly and automatically generating robot program according to the actual machining conditions. The STEP-NC Application Activity Model (AAM) and Application Reference Model (ARM) of closed-loop robot machining system is built to integrate the machining process data, monitoring and inspection data, mechanical equipment data, machining status data and inspection result data within a unified data flow, making it possible to realize intelligent manufacturing and adaptively adjusting the robot machining process. The proposed closed-loop robot machining system was implemented based on an open STEP-NC interpreter that interprets the high-level information in STEP-NC directly to reduce machining robot programming time. An industrial camera was integrated with the robot for rawpiece positioning, then the STEP-NC interpreter can generate robot path rapidly according to the parameters of manufacturing features and position of rawpiece. The STEP-NC interpreter can generate a robot control program or communicate with a software controller using an application program interface, so it can be integrated with both existing industrial robot controllers and future open robot controllers. Finally, case studies are conducted for the functional verification of the proposed STEP-NC compliant closed-loop robot machining system.

Abstract:In the traditional jacquard CAD system,image can be processed only on one layer.In order to enhance the system ability of processing images and increase the efficiency of designing,this paper applies layer technique in jacquard CAD system,and vector map editing and mathematical morphology method fit for the jacquard CAD field are used at the same time.A jacquard CAD image processing system based on the layer technique is finally designed.The system is programmed in Delphi 7.System architecture,implementation principle of each module and core algorithm are introduced.Through the above methods,good effect is gained at last,which demonstrates that this technique has broad prospects for application.
