Abstract:Taking network layer testing function of IPTV analyzer as a research background, the overall design framework of the IPTV and the algorithm of network layer testing index in the IPTV are introduced. On the basis of the introduction, the solution of testing these indexs by IP traffic generator is also described. It analyses advanced masterslave mode ,efficient traffic generated algorithm and scheduling algorithm, and then gives the test results of the simulation. The test results show that the solution is clearly thought-out, stable and reliable. The solution has been implemented in IPTV analyzer and got good results.

Abstract:This paper introduces a Video on Demand system based on both CATV broadcasting channels and IP interactive network. CATV broadcasting channels are used for content transmission and IP network is used for control information transmission between Set Top Box and Headend Server. The control mechanism of whole system is designed and implemented according to DSM-CC protocol stacks. The paper narrates the end-to-end system diagram and VoD application software of Set Top Box. The system can be used in CATV network and provide VoD services for CATV subscribers.

Abstract:This information intercourse system (IICS) is designed for the news intercourse among TV stations and modernization of network and information management in the TV station. Firewall and double-server structure are used in hardware; in software, tech- nologies such as WEB, MIS and database synchronization are adopted. The whole system is completed with the help of the guideline of software engineering. A design for the system is introduced in detail, stating some key technologies using in system realization, and also having a study on some main problems in system realization.

Abstract:This paper describes the transmission scheme for the terrestial ISDB system. First, a general system level introduction is presented. It is followed by the detailed description of channel coding, modulation mode and the structure of the receiver. Abstract:A scheme of embedded IP gateway based on SOPC is proposed for wideband satellite data communication.HDLC(High-level Data Link Control Procedures)is one of the most widely used Data-Link layer protocols in satellite data communication system.A high-speed HDLC IP CORE is designed and implemented on a single chip and an embedded linux software environment is set up.Compared to common scheme,this scheme is more flexible and efficient.The throughput of this scheme is also higher.The design idea,key point and the structure of both hardware and software of the proposed scheme is presented.A prototype of this scheme is given and it is proved that this prototype has high performance.

Abstract:With the co-efforts from Zhejiang University,Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Xidian Universi-ty,a transmission scheme of the Advanced Digital Television Broadcasting System(ADTB)is presented in this paper.The simulated system functions and performance are superior to that of international DTV transmission standards.A stable fixed,portable and even mobile reception of large volume broadcasting data can be attained with a consumer grade tuner and various modulation modes.The scheme is also designed to support SFN and on-channel repeater functions,to incorporate efficient digital cable transmission modes,and to be easily compatible with some foreign standards.The presented scheme is one of the ideal candidates of DTV broadcasting standards being defined in our country.[

Abstract:On the basis of analysis of various streaming media digital copyright management security protocols, this paper presents a digital copyright protection protocol which is adaptive to dynamic, distributed and heterogeneous IPTV network environments and can span the diverse security domain. This protocol does not only meet the basic requirements of digital copyright protection, but also has the ability to defend against IPTV protocol attacks and assure fairness between digital content Web service providers and customers by introducing a gateway web service and copyright center. We also apply WS-Security to the protocol to ensure end-to-end security and wsdl which explains how operations can be invoked. Furthermore, a formalization tool is applied to analyze the security of the protocol and the analysis results indicate that the protocol is secure.

Abstract:IPTV is an emerging Internet application, and is revolutionizing the entertainment and media industries. In this paper, we examine the current progress in research and development of IPTV systems. We provide an overview of two major IPTV system architectures, namely, the IP multicast architecture and the P2P architecture, and review various challenges, design issues, and interesting research problems in these approaches, more from an ISP's perspective. We also outline a hybrid IP multicast and P2P IPTV architecture, which enhances the system resilience to network errors, while preserving the desirable properties of the IP multicast system.

Abstract:IP(Internet protocol) layer multicast is widely used in digital TV(DTV) systems for large-scale deployment.But restricted by the feature of "best effort" of IP network,packet loss is very common in streaming media transmission.Thus,IP network packet loss becomes the bottleneck of the quality of service(QoS) improvement of existing DTV systems.To solve this problem,we design a novel middleware system specialised for streaming media service quality business with the characteristics of low degree of coupling and high scalability.The core algorithm of this system is an optimised Reed-Solomon coding scheme,it reduces the complexity of coding and decoding and efficiently implement RS coding-based forward error correction technique.

Abstract:The interactive set top box (STB) is in a great need for the current market with the development of digital HDTV. But now it is not popular that the network data stream and compressed MPEG2 data stream are transported in the same cable for some reasons of the standard. To solve this problem, this paper introduces an interactive two-module STB with network access, including the design of the hardware and software, which makes it available that the two data streams are received from the different module.

Abstract:Specific to audio and video data multiplexing in Broadcast and TV system, a scheme of intellectual property module based on FPGA was advanced in this paper. After introduction to the related standards, the architecture of audio and video data multiplexing IP module and design processing were introduced. Through the experimental results, it is shown that the IP module could effectively multiplex audio data to video stream and achieve audio and video synchronization. Finally, the IP module output multiplexed stream through SDI.

Abstract:Aiming at the problem that traditional Content Delivery Network(CDN) architecture Internet Protocol Television(IPTV) system is expensive to deploy and maintain.Hybrid architecture IPTV system project is proposed.The original IPTV system of CDN architecture is merged with Peer-to-Peer(P2P).This paper analyzes the real data of shanghai telecom IPTV system,designs an approximate model of program popular degree.Experimental results show that,this scheme can cut costs and enhance the scalability,the model of popular degree get about 40% system load reducement as a result.
