The Performance Prediction of the Scaling Up Square Cyclone with Particle Accelerating Inlet

Abstract:Scaling up design of a circulating fluidized bed boiler focus on the separator. The square cyclone with particle accelerating inlet was believed good scaling up potential. The experimental results of 300mm×300mm and 700mm×700mm at ambient in a rig were compared with the hot test in 351mm×351mm in rig,also with that in a industrial unit. And the performance for several larger size was predicted. And the scaling up design of the square cyclone with particle accelerating inlet meets well the request of large circulating fluidized bed boilers.
