A New Design Method for the Injecting On-Line Pressure Sealant Clamps

Abstract:The fundamental principles and application status of the injecting on-line pressure sealant clamps were simply presented, the operating keys of the pressure seals and the lack of the existing design method of flange clamps were analyzed. A new design method was proposed with setting a removable inner ring to retrofit the structure of the flange clamps, the difficulties of satisfying the clearance between the axial packing force of the outside edge of the flange and the profile of the clamps at the same time was overcome. The application practices of the nozzles of the waste water boilers and the covers of non-return valves proved that the method was simple, efficient, and valuable.
