Abstract:Fenton oxidation was used to degrade organic matter in electroplating wastewater containing nickel, and break the complexation formed by heavy metal ions and complex agent, and then the ferrite coprecipitation method was used to treat the subsequent wastewater.Various factors during the process were studied. Results showed that Fenton oxidation could break the complexation formed by heavy metal ions and complex agent, greatly reduce organic matter in the wastewater. When the initial pH as 4,H2O2 concentration as 13.32 g/L,[Fe2+]/[H2O2] as 0.4,the reaction time as 60 min,COD and Ni2+ removal rate was respectively 75.15% and 86.60%,Ni2+ in the effluent could not meet the discharge standard. With precipitation in ferrite coprecipitation conditions as pH 11,Fe/Me 10,aeration contact time 60 min,the Ni2+ removal rate was 99.64%,and the concentration of Ni2+ in the effluent was 0.43 mg/L,which could meet the Electroplating Wastewater Discharge Standard (GB 21900-2008).Precipitation analysis confirmed that the sediment obtained in the ferrite process was in the form of pentlandite (NiFe2O4).Three dimensional fluorescence spectrum (EEM) showed that protein-like material and microbial products could be degraded into small molecular material after Fenton oxidation.
