Abstract:With the pushing forward of higher education globalization,international university evaluation is showing its role of practical orientation increasingly.“Academic Ranking of World University”,“World University Ranking” and “International University Innovative Competence Ranking” are very influential in China.Each evaluation objective,norm and parameter designing has their characteristics.Some of the evaluation results are the same and others are different.With the development of higher education globalization,international university evaluation is important reference value and realistic significance because it can offer information about school running for different groups.The future international university evaluation should gradually sum up the experience and continuously perfect evaluation theory so as to promote university construction.

Indexes,data sources and the statistical method of graduate schools ranking are based on the characters of graduate schools,which are scientific and operable;Graduate schools ranking appearance in China is late and the ranking methodology is from other countries.Though we also focus on the characters of graduate schools in China, ranking indexes,data sources and the characters of different graduate schools are inferior to the methodology of U.S.News & World Report ranking of graduate schools.Consequently,we should focus on the relationship between the particularity of graduate schools and the ranking methodology in order to achieve the localization of ranking methodology.

Abstract:Chinese university evaluation is discussed from the aspects of the innovation (ideas, methods, technology), results and analysis, interpretation of the trend. This paper focuses on the analysis of the innovation of ideas, method and technology about university evaluation and interpretation of the trend from the data of 2012's evaluation. Three indexes university web influence index which represents the value of the university's brand, performance index influence network, comprehensive reflection of the school benefit and efficiency, and innovation index, reflecting university innovation ability and level, are introduced for the first time. The corresponding information system is also developed so that all the evaluation activity can be performed automatically and intelligently. From the result of chinese universities and subjects evaluation in 2012, it is concluded that the Chinese university brand value (including the network brand, special major setting and the discipline construction, etc), science and technology innovation level, performance level has a great influence on university comprehensive competitiveness.

Abstract:According to literature review which investigates the evaluation of university research ef-ficiency based on DEA,the impact of evaluation index system on the results are less likely to be high-lighted.Based on a rule of thumb,factor analysis and Pastor Methods,this paper constructs a 3-set e-valuation index system and practizes it to analyze 2008 research efficiency of China’s Research-Oriented Universities.Results show that by using these three evaluation indices,striking differences are found in terms of the values of research efficiency and university rankings.In particularly the factor analysis shows some contradicting results compared with others.

Abstract:The special public funding policies, formulated and implemented by provincial governments, plays an important role in the development of private universities in China. However, there is a lack of scientific evaluation on the rationality and completeness of the provincial special public funding policy of China’s private colleges and universities. Therefore, this paper uses PMC-index model and text mining technology to establish an evaluation index system for the provincial special public funding policy of private universities in China. Based on PMC-Index and PMC-Surface, 13 policy texts issued since 2010 were evaluated scientifically. The results show that the average PMC-Index of the 13 policies is 6.97, and the PMC-Surface map is smooth, which indicates that the overall structure of these policies is reasonable and the policy content has certain completeness. Only one policy is unacceptable. Through further analysis, we found that there is still much room for improvement in the content design of the sample policy, and its rationality and completeness are related to the publication time. This study is helpful to fully understand the advantages and disadvantages of the provincial special public funding policy of private universities in China.

Abstract:This study examines the context and social construction where the evaluation of Chinese universities has been established.It argues that the establishment of university evaluation in China is resulted of the rapid expansion of China's higher education,and embodied of a diversified system inclu-ding evaluation in the aspects of university research,teaching,disciplines and educational programs.It further illustrates that the indicators cited by the university evaluation,however,is decontextualized and fragmented.Strategies of improvement are brought in the end part of the article,for the reference of both the government and peer academicians for a better practice of the"Double First-Class"Con-struction.

Abstract:To improve the quality of its colleges and universities, China has carried out five rounds of government-led evaluation of undergraduate teaching since the 1990s, and has gradually developed a “five-in-one” evaluation system. The evaluation system in China not only draws lessons from the systems of other countries, but also has its own characteristics. Nevertheless, problems persist in terms of the diversity of evaluation subjects, predominance of government management, lack of system standardization, somewhat arbitrary implementation, poor feedback channels for evaluation findings, and difficulty realizing the improvement function. In the future, China must increase the enthusiasm of colleges and universities by enhancing their role as evaluation subjects, while also strengthening evaluation laws, improving evaluation feedback channels, and genuinely allowing evaluation to play its critical role in improving education quality.

Abstract:Disciplinary program evaluation can reflect the state of a program and differences among programs at various universities by using different kinds of index systems for objective appraisal .Business study covering various areas of business administration may develop more internationally through evaluation that uses internationally‐recognized indices .The citation data of business study programs of thirty Chinese universities from the Web of Science database indicate the indices h and w of these programs and their precise ranking ,which reflect the present state of development of the programs .The indices may also show the differences in discipline assessment and be compared with the evaluation results released by the Academic Degree Center in 2012 .In addition ,a comparison of the indices h and w of twenty first‐class business administration programs in the world and those in China may reveal the gap between Chinese universities and top universities in other countries .

Abstract:Objective "Health Chinese 2030" policy has been formed and the countries stressed that the people's health on the priority development of strategic position,and protected people's health to fully cycle and developed the health industry as the focus.Therefore,for colleges and universities to carry out the health industry theoretical and practical research,this research is to establish the evaluation index system of Chinese universities' health industry initially.Methods With a large number of relevant literature,we started from the elements make up of Chinese universities' health industry in making reference to the other industry.By using Delphi method among 13 experts,we initially established the evaluation index system of Chinese universities' health industry.Results After two rounds of expert consultation,an index system of 5 primary indicators,16 secondary indicators and 37 three indicators were formed.Conclusion In the process of the establishment of the index system,the experts enrolled were representative,had a high degree of authority and initiative and were concentrated on advice.The evaluation index system of Chinese universities' health industry we formed was to some degree scientific and practical,and may provide a theoretical basis for our further assessment tools of healthy industry.
