Abstract:As one of the national projects of China's 11th Five-year Program, CALIS faced great chal enges:building standardized, low-cost, adaptive, scalable digital library platform enabled with interoperability for nearly 2000 member libraries in China. With the development of cloud computing technology, CALIS proposed total solutions which is based on cloud computing technologies, and built multi-cloud service platforms including CALIS National Central Platform, Regional Platform and Local Platform. This paper gives a technical overview of China Academic Digital Library Information System including the CALIS cloud service platform, unified authentication system, resource exchange and processing system, resources and services integration system, resource discovery and access system, as wel as consulting and training system.

Abstract:Due to more nad more expanding data in information progress,CALS is introduced.This paper describes the theoretical studies and practical applications of CALS in terms of CALS background,development,characteristics,economic benefits,research status,standards implementation technology and so on.The results show that CALS lacks in domestic manufacturing applications.Finally,the feasibility of CALS in domestic implement aspects is analyzed and some ways for its further development are proposed.

Abstract:Cloud computing has been applied in many fields at home and abroad as a rapidly developing new information technology. This paper introduces cloud computing which is applied in digital libraries, analyzes current situation and existing problems of the cloud computing in digital library .On this basis, on the combination of cloud computing, SaaS, web2.0, SOA and other technologies, this paper proposes a CALIS-based cloud service strategy and the corresponding cloud library services platform (i.e. Nebula platform) model. The model is suitable for constructing large-scale distributed network of public digital library services. All library resources and service distributed on the Internet can be integrated as a whole, which forms a new type of adaptive control service system supporting interlibrary collaboration and service access, as well sharing resources from different libraries.

Abstract:SaaS(Software as a service) assembles hardware,software and services together,reduces the cost of libraries through large-scale construction.It is regarded as one of the most important ways for libraries to implement the modern management,speed up information resources sharing and improve the ability of literature supplying.In 2009,Chinese library community started to pay strong attention on SaaS model.In 2011,CALIS developed a standardized,low-cost,adaptive,extensible SaaS-based service sharing platform.This platform can support service operations of hundreds or even thousands of CALIS member libraries within the same application system.As a practical application example of SaaS-based service sharing platform,CALIS interlibrary loan and document delivery system has been widely used in more than 400 member libraries after half year of its launch because of its low-investment and maintenance cost,low-demand on application and other advantages.

Abstract:In order to make full use and share of cadastral information,based on existing achievements in the process of cadastral management informatization,and to meet the new demands of local self-government and global sharing in cadastral management,a solution that integrates local cadastral databases into a global federated database is proposed,according to the federated database theory.The solution include a dynamic feature access model and a hierarchical privilege management strategy,which are supposed to control the access of cadastral graphic and business data respectively.On the basis of the solution,a new cadastral information system is developed by refactoring and updating the old one.The new system has been put into operation with good performance and well meets the new needs of cadastral management,which not only verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the solution,but also provides new ideas to realize the integration and sharing of cadastral information and even achieve the goal of socialization of cadastral information services.

The consortia acquisition greatly promoted the development of advanced education and scientific research in our country. Abstract:In response to changing demand structures due to slower population growth and economic shifts, this study examines the coordination between public service facilities and urban spatial centers, crucial for people-centered community development and spatial agglomeration laws. Utilizing crystal-growth algorithms and spatial autocorrelation, the research algorithmically interprets spatial centers, and conducts kernel density and natural break classification analyses on public service facilities. The case of Guangzhou's central urban area reveals: 1) The spatial centers are in Liwan, Yuexiu, and Haizhu districts; 2) Centers are dispersed within a five-minute range but cluster over thirty minutes; 3) Analysis of coupling at different scales highlights areas needing more public service facilities. This methodology elucidates the relationship between spatial elements and structure, enriching community living circle theory and contributing to urban high-quality development.
