Abstract:Machining precision stands as a pivotal indicator of machine tool performance, so accuracy allocation is the primary problem to be solved in machine tool design. Accuracy allocation involves meeting specified precision requirements while considering constraints, such as manufacturing costs and the feasibility of tolerance ranges. Due to the varying contributions of various geometric errors to the volumetric errors in machine tool, it is necessary to undertake a comprehensive assessment of sensitivity coefficients to balance accuracy and cost-efficiency. This study focuses on a large-scale optical precision grinding machine, establishing the volumetric error model for the precision grinding machine. Meanwhile, the sensitivity coefficients of each geometric error terms are introduced, and a grinding machine accuracy optimization method based on the error global sensitivity coefficient is proposed by taking the tolerance ranges and the manufacturing cost of the grinding machine as the criterion, and the machining accuracy as the constraint for optimizing the tolerances of machine components. By employing the multi-objective optimization and decision-making algorithms, the optimization of grinding machine accuracy allocation is achieved. Using the satisfaction of grinding machine processing accuracy as the analysis indicator, this paper compares the grinding machine accuracy optimization method based on the global sensitivity coefficient of errors proposed in this paper with the equal influence degree allocation method and the equal value allocation method. This verification process validated the necessity of introducing sensitivity coefficients. This research provides valuable guidance for designers in the realm of accuracy allocation for machine tools.
