Abstract:Since the foundation of the People's Republic in 1949,Chinese library profession has always had it core values,but they were formed from the top administrative departments,and library professionals had to accept them passively.The studies of core Chinese library values since 2007 has its new independent features,and Library Service Manifesto formed on their basis is no longer a political task, but a manifestation of the ideal of the whole profession.The Manifesto carries the core values of Chinese librarians in the best historical period if the profession.18 refs.

Abstract:Librarian is the core of the library value realization and the main part of the library service innovation. The ability of librarian decides the height of the library service innovation. However, now a lot of research described librarians as omnipotent, this is unrealistic. Starting from the research hotspot types of library service innovation, combined with the post setting of library, the author counts and analyzes recruitment notice of library in recent years and some department functions and find that Librarians' service innovation should start with the librarians of information service.And then, associate the librarians' competence requirements with the library department setting and service innovation requirements. In the end, the author constructs the core competence framework of librarians.

Abstract:Kindness and justice, endeavor, harmony constitute the basic content of contemporary Chinese core values. These core values adopt the concept of traditional Chinese culture, but they are filled and explained with all the positive achievements of human civilization. Being systematic and dialectical values, they are dynamic. They are mostly characterized by the introduction of the Marxist practical spirit, thus weakening to some extent the previous values existing in the separation of knowledge and action.

Abstract:Social forces for library operation emerged at the beginning of the new millennium. They have four patterns: independently establishing and operating libraries; donating money and books to support libraries; cooperating with public libraries; and volunteer services. They are supplementary to the development of public library and the guarantee of cultural rights of the citizens. The author proposes a way of "private organizations supporting publicly-run libraries, and public organizations supporting private libraries". The cultivation of socialist core values in colleges and universities is currently facing severe challenges. The cultivation of socialist core values in colleges and universities is not scientifically perfect.
