Abstract:This article expounds on the core of the spirit of library profession from the following four aspects:regarding library profession as the professional standard of value,winning the identification with library profession by understanding its social mission,comprehending the sense of responsibility of library profession by upholding the science spirit,practicing the spirit of library profession by the code of profes- sional ethics.
