RESEARCH ON THE EFFECT OF STABILIZING AGENTS ON THE PERFORMANCES OF GREEN LEADLESS AND CADMIUMLESS FLUXING AGENTS FOR OVERGLAZE COLORS

Abstract:In the alkali-boron-silicon fluxing agents,stabilizers were added and a research was made about the performances of leadless and cadmiumless fluxing agents for overglaze colors.Through a series of contrastive experiments such as the chemical stability test,stack firing,viscosity test,screen printing and decoration firing,a test was conducted on optimum addition quantities of ZrO2,ZnO,SnO2 and TiO2.The result shows that on the basis of basic fluxing agent formula the optimum addition quantity of ZrO2 is 6%,SnO2 not more than 5%,ZnO 10%,TiO2 1%(the minimum level).8# is the best formula.
