Analysis on the staff amount and authorized size of health inspection agencies nationwide

Abstract:Objective To investigate the current situation of health inspectors including the amount of both health inspectors and health law enforcement officials,and the authorized size of health inspection agencies.Method Use census to survey health inspection agencies and staffs,and use SPSS 16.0 to analyze data.Result(1)The number of health inspectors is not enough,and the proportion of health inspectors to permanent resident population is 0.75 per ten thousand;(2)0.52 per ten thousand for health law enforcement officials to permanent resident population;(3)Shortage and vacancy coexist in personnel post area.Conclusion(1)Continue strengthening personnel development of health inspection agencies to enlarge the total number;(2)Expand and make full use of authorized size.
