Analysis on the education levels and majors of the personnel in health inspection agencies nationwide

Abstract:Objective To obtain the data of health inspectors' education level and majors,and provide evidence for the health inspection personnel development.Method Obtain data by general investigation of the health inspection agencies and staffs,analyze data by using SPSS 16.0.Result(1)The majority(38.18%) of health inspectors graduated from technical school,while the personnel without graduate degree made up 63.98%.(2)Comparatively,health inspectors mainly obtained their first or last degrees in preventive medicine,clinical medicine and business management and law.The proportion of inspectors' major changing from the beginning at entry to the last degree is 14.56%.Conclusion(1)As the overall education level is low and the distribution of the personnel is imbalanced,it is suggested to set up talent absorption and training mechanism.(2)Despite the diversity of major distribution with concentration on related majors,the proper proportion of the major distribution should be clarified for better personnel allocation.
