Abstract:For the course,Process Control Engineering,this paper improves normal teaching objectives and teaching contents,and proposes an optimized teaching system to satisfy the requirement of modern process industries to control engineers.In addition to instruct basic control algorithms and control system analysis,control system designing and implementation are emphasized.Teaching practice in recent years has shown the integrality and effectiveness of the new teaching system,which has an obvious effect on training control engineers with strong innovation ability and engineering application techniques.

Abstract:Process Control Engineering is a very practical course and the main contents are control system analysis,design and application.To stimulate learning enthusiasm of students and deepen their understanding of the contents of teaching,the independent design and integrated simulation teaching method is employed.Several typical process control problems are given,and each student must select one problem and solve it independently.Students need to build models,design and simulate control strategies,and write research reports.Finally,guided by the teacher,the classroom discussion is carried out.This teaching method can greatly upgrade the student's ability in identifying,analyzing and solving problems.

Abstract:Biochemical Reaction Engineering is a professional discipline with emphasis on both theory and practice. It is the core course in the curriculum provision for students majoring in bioengineering and plays an important role in the cultivation of professional talents. However, there are so much theory knowledge, such as formulas and deduction, that students showed poor efficiency in their study. Herein, to cater the objective command of innovative talents under new education background, and to improve the practical teaching efficiency and the students' enthusiasm as well as the practical innovation capability, the teaching team innovated and explored the teaching pattern, the teaching method as well as the teaching technologies. The teaching efficiency has been remarkably improved by introducing the virtual simulate technology, the micro-lecture, the case teaching pattern attempts and the scientific platform, which can be used as reference by other peers.

Abstract:This paper starts with a brief survey on the chemical engineering education at home and abroad,from which the problems and challenges are pointed out.The authors argue that an innovated recognition of the essential role of this engineering discipline in the context of human efforts towards a better life,the reorganization the curriculum that meet the demands of today's engineering practice and the way in teaching are the important factors to attract young talents and to direct their efforts towards the renaissance of chemical engineering.A brief overview of the development of chemical engineering disciplinary paradigm is outlined,followed by the discussion on the current curriculum, the way to teach and the organization of faculties,which are the fundamentals in the university education.Examples are given to the problem-oriented courses which may inspire students to identify and solve the problem under a multidisciplinary background.

The design of experiment is organized in four parts: selecting main instruments, submitting a preliminary proposal, making a presentation of the detailed project, and carrying out the designed experiment. Abstract:The principle of chemical engineering is an important engineering basic course in process engineering. It is very important to set up the engineering concept and cultivate the students' ability of engineering practice. In the traditional teaching mode, students are short of previewing,leading to the unreliable knowledge. Based on the Internet interactive teaching platform, blending teaching and learning are adopted in the principles of chemical engineering, in which students are taken as the center of knowledge learning. Students' initiatives are fully mobilized; their ability of autonomous learning is improved; the spirit of teamwork is cultivated. The terminal achievement shows that all students successfully pass the examination and reach the designed goal.

Abstract:In recent years, computer technology has developed rapidly especially the reconfigurable computing devices and related technology. This makes the related computer courses are confronted with an enormous challenge. With great importance attached to cultivating students' system ability, this paper makes teaching researches using EDA technologies through application of both software and hardware then apply them to the actual teaching practice. The courses are organized as the course group which can be extended through adding related courses for aimed major. And at the same time we have established a systematic and progressive experiment system. Consequently, students can deepen their understanding of the computer system, improve their ability to address practical problems and thus develop their over-all ability.
