Abstract:Papermaking principle and engineering is the core curriculum of light chemistry engineering.Traditional teaching focuses on the theory taught,and contacts unenough with engineering,which can't meet the needs of the modern paper-making enterprises.Teacher-led,student body as the core,we should contact closly with both the actual living and construction site and reform the curriculum in teaching methods and content,to achieve a seamless integration between the theory and engineering.By the teaching reform,we can cuttivate draining the students' engineering awareness,develop their initiative ability,and stimulate their interest in learning,strengthen their ability to adapt to the actual work and solve engineering issues,achieve the position zero distance,and be in line with high-level application-oriented personnel training needs.

Abstract:: Based on the situation of China University of Petroleum (East China) and the students’ training characteristics, we have explored the reasonable teaching design on the basis of combining the theory and features of physical chemistry course with the practices, to facilitate chemical knowledge acquisition in non-chemical engineering majors. Abstract:Several problems existing in the teaching of physical chemistry experiment were discussed.A series of suggestions for reform were also put forward, including improvement of teaching methods, optimization of teaching content and application of computer and enriching assessment system.Though these measurements, better teaching quality of the course and useful experience for further teaching reform can be achieved.Results showed that students` motivation to learn, ability to conduct the experiment and research ability could also be improved significantly.

Abstract:System biology is a newly-born branch of biology. Experiments including biochip and two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis were offered for undergraduates according to their reality and characteristics of the subject. A set of effective experimental teaching mode for system biology was set up based on inquiry learning-oriented eidos and the characteristic of students＇ major. The overall quality and learning initiatives of students were improved effectively by guiding them to select and discuss topics, design experiment processes, carry out the experiments, analyze the experimental results, etc. The effects of this teaching method for improving the student overall ability were summarized in this paper. Abstract:Physical chemistry is the important basic course for chemical engineering students. In order to solve the problems existing in the physical chemistry teaching,teaching experience were combined to proposed physical chemistry course teaching mode reform according to characteristics of chemical engineering. By improving teaching methods,perfecting teaching method,optimizing the teaching content and evaluation system,and constructing the network teaching platform,the teaching reform enhanced the communication between teachers and students,aroused the students' interest in learning,mobilized the enthusiasm of the students, and improved the classroom teaching effect. Based on the characteristics of chemical engineering,the teaching content and evaluation system were optimized to make appropriate adjustments on teaching methods to improve the classroom teaching effect.
