Abstract:This paper designs a kind of all-digital clock recovery unit based on USB full speed device to solve the problem that common clock recovery methods in USB full speed device are low accuracy or high cost.This clock recovery unit contains a module which can extract timing messages from USB bus data,and uses the digitally-controlled oscillator which can overcome the bad effect by the chip's different operating conditions.The design uses the all-digital circuit design processes,logic synthesis and P&R process of which is based on the standard cell library.The result of this design satisfies the USB specification's requirements.

Abstract:Frequency is a fundamental parameter in the field of Electronic technology. As a basic measuring instrument, the digital frequency meter is extensively applied for its features such as high precision, fast speed, digital display. This paper describes a very simple and data transmittable design of a Digital Frequency Meter using a PIC microcontroller with some simple functions. This digital frequency meter has a range of frequency measurement from 1Hz to 100kHz and a resolution of 1hz and accuracy less than 0.5%. Digital Frequency Meter measures the frequency and displays its data on 1602 LCD screen with a unit in thousands(kHz); the usage of microcontroller enables it to toggle measuring mode, pause the data display and transmit data to other microcontrollers for extra uses.

Abstract:This paper presents a two-step coarse-fine time-to-digital converter (TDC) for ultrasonic flowmeter applications. To achieve a high resolution with a low frequency reference clock, a 7.7-MHz reference frequency is multiplied by 32 times using a multiplying delay-locked loop (MDLL) to generate a high-speed internal clock for coarse quantization. The resulting residual time error after coarse quantization is pulse-stretched and finely quantized. A cost-effective calibration scheme is proposed to ensure the PVT robustness of the pulse stretching circuit. The proposed TDC is realized in a 0.11μm/1.5V CMOS technology. It achieves a resolution of 5.6ps with a wide input range from 1 to 4255μs. The core TDC circuit occupies 0.065 mm and consumes 1.8mW. The measured differential nonlinearity and integral nonlinearity is ±3.1ps and ±59.7ps respectively.

Abstract:This paper presents an energy metering chip with a flexible computing engine. The flexible computing engine includes the metering program and a dedicated DSP. Besides providing the generally required energy metering data, the chip can also provide different energy metering and measurement data through the control registers accessible by a host MCU via the UART or SPI interface. The flexible computing engine adjusts the computing tasks of the DSP according to applications, reducing the amount of redundant computing and, therefore, reducing the power consumption. The chip can be used in general energy metering, fundamental energy metering, direct current (DC) energy metering, and various measurement and monitoring of the electricity signals. The energy metering chip is fabricated in a 0.11-μm CMOS process. The chip meets the metering accuracy requirements by the international standard IEC-62053-21/22/23/24. The grid monitoring of the chip meets the international standard IEC-61000-4-30 Class S. The total power consumption when performing the energy metering is only 6.6 mW. The chip is currently in production.

Abstract:A low-frequency phase meter based on STM32 single-chip microcomputer is designed for the characteristics of expensive, complex functions and inconvenient portability of the phase meters on the market. The phase meter is mainly composed of STM32 single-chip microcomputer module, amplification and shaping module, display module, power supply module and so on. The article first introduces the design background and goals of the phase meter; secondly, introduces the overall design scheme and the selection of each module; thirdly, makes a real object for frequency and phase function tests; finally, makes a design summary. Experiments show that the frequency and phase measurement errors of the low-frequency phase meter are small, and the expected design goal is achieved. At the same time, the phase meter can measure a variety of waveforms, with low production costs and easy portability.

Abstract:In order to solve the problem of low precision and high cost of traditional frequency meter, this paper proposes a design method of high precision digital frequency meter based on STM32H750 series microcomputer. This method can effectively solve the problem of counting error of ±1 words in the cycle measurement method and the frequency measurement method, improve the accuracy and reduce the cost. By continuously correcting the PPS (pulse per second) signal received from the synchronous satellite, the disadvantage of the traditional measurement method is supplemented to a certain extent. Compared with traditional frequency meters, this method fully utilizes the advantages of high-speed and accurate microcontroller, and has the characteristics of small size, fast speed, and high accuracy. The design scheme of the frequency meter given in this design is not only feasible, but also simple in design, low in cost and wide in measurable frequency band, which greatly reduces the design cost and implementation complexity.

Design on DC Digital Voltage Meter Based on C Language

Abstract:Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional digital voltage meter such as complex structure, high cost, short service life and difficult upgrade, a digital voltage meter is proposed, which is based on C language and uses P89V51 single chip microcomputer as control core. The hardware circuit uses dual integrating A/D converter; the power supply circuit is handled by steady voltage chip LM7805 and LM7905; the voltage load ranges from +5 V to-5 V; the digital signal processing adopts CD4052 B, and the automatic range conversion circuit is constituted by LM324. The control function is implemented by C language programming. The measurement range is from 10 mV to 2 V, the resolution ratio is 1 mV(2V gear); the measurement error is less than ±0.5 V; the input resistance is greater than 1 MΩ.The experimental results show that the voltage meter can restrain the power interference, has high measurement accuracy and such advantages as automatic zero, automatic range switching and automatic upgrade.

Abstract:The twenty-first century is an era of highly advanced electronic development. People's pursuit of tools has also become simple, convenient, and efficient [1]. However, the concept of time is getting deeper and deeper. People have become more and more focused on time, which has prompted the development of clocks. This design and production is based on STC89C52 as the core, DHT11, DS1302 realize temperature and humidity, time data acquisition system, and with the key circuit, power circuit, reset circuit, amplifier circuit composed of multi-function calendar system, the final completion of the day and month through the LCD display , Year, Hours, Minutes, Seconds, Temperature and Humidity, etc. This design decided to adopt the one-chip computer STC89C52 as the main control system, adopt LCD12864 liquid crystal display screen as the display module and offer the final data to user, the clock module adopts DS1302 clock chip to connect AT89C52 to finish the computational function of the time, the temperature and humidity collection adopts the sensor DHT11 chip , using 3 ~ 5V DC power supply for the microcontroller and other chips to complete, so as to achieve multi-function calendar function.

Abstract:This paper briefly introduces a design scheme of multifunction digital clock based on FPGA. On the basis of achieving basic functions such as timing, adjusting and chronopher, the scheme brings in new world-time function, which can convert Beijing Time to GMT quickly. The design input method of the scheme combines VHDL and block diagram. The digital clock is designed, compiled as well as simulated under Quartus II development environment, and tested on the FPGA hardware development board. The experiment verifies the design scheme, which offers references for the application of FPGA and the design of digital clock.

Abstract:The task of timing system is countdown on a set date and showing the time from current date to the setting date to enhance people’s attention and sense of urgency. A kind of high-precision timing system is introduced. The system is controlled by single-chip microcontroller. High integration clock chip is used as clock module. System hardware design and software design are introduced. System hardware design includes design of clock module, its connection with single-chip microcomputer, and the design of display module. System software design includes the settings of single-chip serial port, its initialization, the reading and writing of the clock module, the countdown program and the display program. Compared with other timing system which consists of frequency demultiplication by multivibrator, this system is more stable and reliable. The accumulative error is zero when long-time running continuously. Because the system control module is simple, it is convenient to be developed and utilized. Practice shows that this high-precision timing system can meet practical needs well.

Abstract:The thesis presents a set of design scheme of grating displacement measuring system by taking SCM (Single Chip Microcomputer) as the core component. It describes the system design principle and the design process of software and hardware in details, i.e. realizing standard TTL level signal output through the processing of grating output signal amplification, sub-dividing, modulation and driving, so that grating output signal could match the numerical control system. It turns out that the designed grating displacement measuring system is able to satisfy the requirement of high-speed sampling and storage and feasible to be used for the measurement of actual grating displacement. The system has a simple and compact structure and a lower price, and owns favorable practical performance.

Abstract:The simple digital voltmeter is made of the ATMEL 8-bit MCU(Main Computational Unit), AT89S52 and national semiconductor's ADC(Analog-to-Digital Converter) 0804, including a certain number of components. The system uses the AT89S52 MCU as the main controller, which processes the acquired analog voltage and realize LED(light-emitting diode) digital display by dynamic scanning. The voltmeter can measure the DC(direct current) voltage in the rage of 0 ~ 5V and display the measurement results by the four LED digital tube. Because of fewer components, low cost, automated adjustment, high accuracy measurement, stable performance, the voltmeter has a very good application prospect.

Abstract:On the basis of equal-accuracy frequency measurement principle, this paper takes AT89S52 microcontroller as core and designs a high-accuracy multi-function dual-path frequency meter which can measure the frequency of two circuits of signal with a range of frequency of 1Hz-10MHz at the same time, and be equipped with storage and query function as well provide two circuits (1K and 1M) of square wave signal source. This paper adopts modular design: the hardware module consists of control module, amplification and shaping module, display module, storage module, and standard square wave signal source module, etc., while the software module consists of frequency range judgment, frequency measurement, and display of frequency value. The experiment shows that this instrument has low cost, high accuracy, and strong function, with good application prospect.
