Abstract:In this paper, we give some estimations for Ekeland-Hofer-Zehnder capacities of lagrangian products with special forms through combinatorial formulas. Based on these estimations, we give some interesting corollaries.

Abstract:In this paper, we give an estimation for coisotropic Ekeland–Hofer–Zehnder capacity by combinatorial formula. This result implies that coisotropic Ekeland–Hofer–Zehnder capacity can measure the symmetry of convex bodies with respected to in some sense. Next, we talk about the behavior of coisotropic Ekeland–Hofer–Zehnder capacity of convex domains in the classical phase space with respect to symplectic p -products.

Abstract:Using the logarithmic capacity, we give quantitative estimates of the Green function, as well as precise lower bounds of the Bergman kernel for bounded pseudoconvex domains in Cn$\mathbb {C}<^>n$ and the Bergman distance for bounded planar domains. In particular, it is shown that the Bergman kernel satisfies the sharp estimate K Omega(z)>=(z)-2$K_\Omega (z)\gtrsim \delta _\Omega (z)<^>{-2}$ if & omega;$\Omega$ is a bounded pseudoconvex domain with C0$C<^>0$-boundary.
Capacity bounds on integral flows and the Kostant partition function

Abstract:The type $A$ Kostant partition function is an important combinatorial object with various applications: it counts integer flows on the complete directed graph, computes Hilbert series of spaces of diagonal harmonics, and can be used to compute weight and tensor product multiplicities of representations. In this paper we study asymptotics of the Kostant partition function, improving on various previously known lower bounds and settling conjectures of O'Neill and Yip. Our methods build upon recent results and techniques of Brändén-Leake-Pak, who used Lorentzian polynomials and Gurvits' capacity method to bound the number of lattice points of transportation and flow polytopes. Finally, we also give new two-sided bounds using the Lidskii formulas from subdivisions of flow polytopes.

Abstract:We study the capacity of entanglement as an alternative to entanglement entropies in estimating the degree of entanglement of quantum bipartite systems over fermionic Gaussian states. In particular, we derive the exact and asymptotic formulas of average capacity of two different cases -- with and without particle number constraints. For the later case, the obtained formulas generalize some partial results of average capacity in the literature. The key ingredient in deriving the results is a set of new tools for simplifying finite summations developed very recently in the study of entanglement entropy of fermionic Gaussian states.

On the Lagrangian capacity of convex or concave toric domains

Abstract:We establish computational results concerning the Lagrangian capacity, originally defined by Cieliebak-Mohnke. More precisely, we show that the Lagrangian capacity of a 4-dimensional convex toric domain is equal to its diagonal. Working under the assumption that there is a suitable virtual perturbation scheme which defines the curve counts of linearized contact homology, we extend the previous result to any convex or concave toric domain. This result gives a positive answer to a conjecture of Cieliebak-Mohnke for the Lagrangian capacity of the ellipsoid.

Abstract:In this note, we evaluate a multivariable family of infinite products which generalize Guillera's infinite product for $e$, and Ser's formula (rediscovered by Sondow) for $e^\gamma$. We describe formulas for the products in terms of special values of the Hurwitz zeta function $\zeta(s,u)$ and its $s$ derivative. Additionally, we derive integral and double integral representations for the logarithms of these infinite products.

Abstract:The symplectic/orthogonal contents of partitions are related to the dimensions of irreducible representations of symplectic/orthogonal groups. In 2012, motivated by Nekrasov-Okounkov's hook-length formula and Stanley's hook-content formula, Amdeberhan proposed several conjectures about infinite product formulas for certain generating functions of hook-lengths and symplectic/orthogonal contents. Some special cases of his conjectures were recently proved by Amdeberhan, Andrews and Ballantine. In this paper, we prove the general cases of Amdeberhan's conjectures.

Abstract:We give necessary and sufficient conditions for sub-Gaussian estimates of the heat kernel of a strongly local regular Dirichlet form on a metric measure space. The conditions for two-sided estimates are given in terms of the generalized capacity inequality and the Poincare inequality. The main difficulty lies in obtaining the elliptic Harnack inequality under these assumptions. The conditions for upper bound alone are given in terms of the generalized capacity inequality and the Faber-Krahn inequality.

Abstract:We calculate the Fuglede-Kadison determinant of arbitrary matrix-valued semicircular operators in terms of the capacity of the corresponding covariance mapping. We also improve a lower bound by Garg, Gurvits, Oliveira, and Widgerson on this capacity, by making it dimension-independent.

Abstract:We use positive S^1-equivariant symplectic homology to define a sequence of symplectic capacities c_k for star-shaped domains in R^{2n}. These capacities are conjecturally equal to the Ekeland-Hofer capacities, but they satisfy axioms which allow them to be computed in many more examples. In particular, we give combinatorial formulas for the capacities c_k of any "convex toric domain" or "concave toric domain". As an application, we determine optimal symplectic embeddings of a cube into any convex or concave toric domain. We also extend the capacities c_k to functions of Liouville domains which are almost but not quite symplectic capacities.

We establish the Hadamard variational formula for Riesz capacity of convex bodies. As a meaningful application, we derive a Serrin-type symmetry result for an overdetermined problem.

Abstract:In this paper, new upper and lower bounds are proposed for the capacity of discrete-time Laguerre channel. Laguerre behavior is used to model various types of optical systems and networks such as optical amplifiers, short distance visible light communication systems with direct detection and coherent code division multiple access (CDMA) networks. Bounds are derived for short distance visible light communication systems and coherent CDMA networks. These bounds are separated in three main cases: when both average and peak power constraints are imposed, when peak power constraint is inactive and when only peak power constraint is active.

Abstract:Given a symplectic toric manifold, the moment maps of sub-circle actions can be modified to be admissible functions in the sense of Hofer-Zehnder. By exploiting the relationship between the period of Hamiltonian sub-circle actions of a symplectic toric manifold and its Delzant polytope, we develop an invariant of Delzant polytopes which gives a lower bound of the Hofer-Zehnder capacity.

Abstract:In a series of work [Wor22], [Wor21] and [CW20], algebraic capacities were introduced in an algebraic manner for polarized algebraic surfaces and applied to the symplectic embedding problems. In this paper, we give a reformulation of algebraic capacities in terms of only a tamed pair of symplectic form and almost complex structure. We show that they actually only depend on the cohomology class of the symplectic form for a rational manifold. Since it is not known that any symplectic form on a rational manifold is Kähler, this novel formulation potentially is more general on a rational manifold. Additionally, for manifolds with $b^+=1$, we derive asymptotic results that are parallel to the context of ECH(Embedded Contact Homology) and algebraic settings. When assuming $c_1\cdot [\omega]>0$ on rational manifolds, we further introduce a sequence of tropical polynomials which will succinctly describe those capacities viewed as functions over the domain parametrizing such symplectic forms. As an application, we give a purely symplectic proof of the correspondence between algebraic capacities and ECH capacities for smooth toric surfaces.

Abstract:In this paper we study the capacity of Lorentzian polynomials. We give a new proof of a theorem of Brändén, Leake and Pak. Our approach is probabilistic in nature and uses a lemma about a certain distance of binomial distributions to distributions with fixed expected value.

Abstract:We establish explicit Ichino's formulae for the central values of the triple product $L$-functions with emphasis on the calculations for the real place. The key ingredient for our computations is Proposition 4.5 for the real place which is the main novelty of this article. As an application we prove the optimal upper bound of a sum of restricted $2$-norms of the $L^2$-normalized newforms on certain quadratic extensions with prime level and bounded spectral parameter following the methods of Blomer (2013).

Abstract:In this short note, we construct an explicit embedding of the rescaling of the $p$-sum $K\oplus_p K^{\circ}$ of the centrally symmetric convex domain $K$ and its polar $K^{\circ}$ to the product $K \times K^{\circ}$. The rescaling constant is sharp in some cases. Additionally, we comment on the strong Viterbo conjecture for $K\oplus_p K^{\circ}$.

Fast computation of analytic capacity

Abstract:A boundary integral equation method is presented for fast computation of the analytic capacities of compact sets in the complex plane. The method is based on using the Kerzman--Stein integral equation to compute the Szegö kernel and then the value of the Ahlfors map at the point at infinity. The proposed method can be used for domains with smooth and piecewise smooth boundaries. When combined with conformal mappings, the method can be used for compact slit sets. Several numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method. We recover some known exact results and corroborate the conjectural subadditivity property of analytic capacity.
