Abstract:Let $(X,\omega)$ be a compact Kähler manifold. We prove that all Monge-Ampère capacities are comparable. Using this we give an alternative direct proof of the integration by parts formula for non-pluripolar products recently proved by M. Xia.

Abstract:This article concerns the Lp Minkowski problem for q-capacity. We consider the case p >= 1 and 1 < q < nin the smooth category by a kind of curvature flow, which converges smoothly to the solution of a Monge-Amp & eacute;re type equation. We show the existence of smooth solution to the problem for p >= n. We also provide a proof for the weak solution to the problem when p >= 1, which has been obtained by Zou and Xiong.

Abstract:We introduce a wide subclass ${\cal F}(X,\omega)$ of quasi-plurisubharmonic functions in a compact Kähler manifold, on which the complex Monge-Ampère operator is well-defined and the convergence theorem is valid. We also prove that ${\cal F}(X,\omega)$ is a convex cone and includes all quasi-plurisubharmonic functions which are in the Cegrell class.

Continuity of solutions to complex Monge-Ampère equations on compact Kähler spaces

Abstract:We prove the continuity of bounded solutions to complex Monge-Ampère equations on reduced, locally irreducible compact Kähler spaces. This in particular implies that any singular Kähler-Einstein potentials constructed in \cite{EGZ09} and \cite{Tsuji88, TianZhang06, ST17} are continuous. We also provide an affirmative answer to a conjecture in \cite{EGZ09} by showing that a resolution of any compact normal Kähler space satisfies the continuous approximation property. Finally, we settle the continuity of the potentials of the weak Kähler-Ricci flows \cite{ST17, GLZ20} on compact Kähler varieties with log terminal singularities.

Abstract:Given a cohomology $(1,1)$-class $\{\beta\}$ of compact Hermitian manifold $(X,\omega)$ possessing a bounded potential and fixed a model potential $\phi$, motivated by Darvas-Di Nezza-Lu and Li-Wang-Zhou's work, we show that degenerate complex Monge-Ampère equation $(\beta+dd^c \varphi)^n=e^{\lambda \varphi}\mu$ has a unique solution in the relative full mass class $\mathcal{E}(X,\beta,\phi)$, where $\mu$ is a non-pluripolar measure on $X$ and $\lambda\geq0$ is a fixed constant. As an application, we give an explicit description of Lelong numbers of elements in $\mathcal{E}(X,\beta,\phi)$ which generalized a theorem of Darvas-Di Nezza-Lu in the Hermitian context.

Abstract:In this article, we solve the complex Monge-Ampère equation for measures with a pluripolar part in compact Kähler manifolds. This result generalizes the classical results obtained by Cegrell in bounded hyperconvex domains. We also discuss the properties of the complex Monge--Ampère operator in some special cases.

Abstract:Let $X$ be a compact complex manifold which admits a hermitian metric satisfying a curvature condition introduced by Guan-Li. Given a semipositive form $\theta$ with positive volume, we define the Monge-Ampère operator for unbounded $\theta$-psh functions and prove that it is continuous with respect to convergence in capacity. We then develop pluripotential tools to study degenerate complex Monge-Ampère equations in this context, extending recent results of Tosatti-Weinkove, Kolodziej-Nguyen, Guedj-Lu and many others who treat bounded solutions.

Abstract:Let X be a compact Kaehler manifold with semipositive anticanonical line bundle. Let L be a big and semi-ample line bundle on X and $\alpha$ be the Chern class of L. We prove that the solution of the complex Monge-Ampère equations in $\alpha$ with Lp righthand side (p > 1) is $\log^M$-continuous for every constant M > 0. As an application, we show that every singular Ricci-flat metric in a semi-ample class in a projective Calabi-Yau manifold X is globally $\log^M$-continuous with respect to a smooth metric on X.

Abstract:This is the third and final article in a series which prove the fact that a K-stable Fano manifold admits a Kähler-Einstein metric. In this paper we consider the Gromov-Hausdorff limits of metrics with cone singularities in the case when the limiting cone angle approaches 2 π \pi . They are complex Hessian comparison for the distance function from a closed complex submanifold of a Kahler manifold with holomorphic bisectional curvature bounded below by a constant, eigenvalue comparison and volume comparison in terms of scalar curvature. This work is motivated by comparison results of Li and Wang .

Abstract:The type $A$ Kostant partition function is an important combinatorial object with various applications: it counts integer flows on the complete directed graph, computes Hilbert series of spaces of diagonal harmonics, and can be used to compute weight and tensor product multiplicities of representations. In this paper we study asymptotics of the Kostant partition function, improving on various previously known lower bounds and settling conjectures of O'Neill and Yip. Our methods build upon recent results and techniques of Brändén-Leake-Pak, who used Lorentzian polynomials and Gurvits' capacity method to bound the number of lattice points of transportation and flow polytopes. Finally, we also give new two-sided bounds using the Lidskii formulas from subdivisions of flow polytopes.

Abstract:In the tangent bundle of $(M,g)$, it is well-known that the Monge-Ampère equation $(\partial\bar\partial \sqrt\rho)^n=0$ has the asymptotic expansion $ \rho(x+iy)=\sum_{ij} g_{ij} (x) y_{i} y_{j} + O(y^4)$ near $M$. Those 4th order terms are made explicit in this article: $$\rho(x+iy)=\sum_{i}y_{i}^2-\frac 13\sum_{pqij} R_{i p j q}(0)x_p x_q y_{i}y_{j}+O(5).$$ At $M$, sectional curvatures of the Kähler metric $2i\partial\bar\partial\rho$ can be computed. This has enabled us to find a family of Kähler manifolds whose tangent bundles have admitted complete hyperkähler structures whereas the adapted complex structure can only be partially defined on the tangent bundles.

Abstract:We study degenerate complex Monge-Ampère equations on a compact Kähler manifold $(X,\omega)$. We show that the complex Monge-Ampère operator $(\omega + dd^c \cdot)^n$ is well-defined on the class ${\mathcal E}(X,\omega)$ of $\omega$-plurisubharmonic functions with finite weighted Monge-Ampère energy. The class ${\mathcal E}(X,\omega)$ is the largest class of $\omega$-psh functions on which the Monge-Ampère operator is well-defined and the comparison principle is valid. It contains several functions whose gradient is not square integrable. We give a complete description of the range of the Monge-Ampère operator $(\omega +dd^c \cdot)^n$ on ${\mathcal E}(X,\omega)$, as well as on some of its subclasses. We also study uniqueness properties, extending Calabi's result to this unbounded and degenerate situation, and we give applications to complex dynamics and to the existence of singular Kähler-Einstein metrics.

Abstract:We develop a variational calculus for a certain free energy functional on the space of all probability measures on a Kahler manifold X. This functional can be seen as a generalization of Mabuchi's K-energy functional and its twisted versions to more singular situations. Applications to Monge-Ampère equations of mean field type, twisted Kahler-Einstein metrics and Moser-Trudinger type inequalities on Kahler manifolds are given. Tian's \alpha- invariant is generalized to singular measures, allowing i particular the construction of Kahler-Einstein metrics with positive Ricci curvature that are singular along a given anti-canonical divisor (as proposed in a very recent program of Donaldson). As another application we show that if the Calabi flow in the (anti-) canonical class exits for all times then it converges to a Kahler-Einstein metric, when one exists. Applications to the probabilistic/statistical mechanical approach to the construction of Kahler-Einstein metrics, very recently introduced by the author, will appear elsewhere.
